Since that night one month ago, Namnuea did his best to never cross his boss' path again. If he knew the man was at the vineyard, he immediately went to the store. If his boss was at the restaurant, he tried to find a nice place in the back of the warehouse to eat his lunch and so on.It could sound unreasonable seeing a grown up man trying to avoid another person like that, but something about Phamueang made the new employee show his worst features and he wasn't happy about it. Like that time when Namnuea forgot the french word for glass and he tried to mimic one to the group of tourists visiting the vineyard. Or that one in which Namnuea accidentally spilled an overly priced bottle into some prime minister's clothes. It wasn't his fault the man was capable of teleporting himself and get to the place where Namnuea's elbow was and with it making him waste that nice wine like that. In his defense, the other employees also think the man could be a vampire or even an e.t.! Maybe because Namnuea convinced them about that theory, but still!!
It was unfair to know that the man only saw his worst and he was so eager to show his efforts working in the place. Mostly because he had quitted his job at the capital and accepted that crazy job in the vineyard and didn't plan to cry or regret his decision, but because Phamueang seemed an interesting person.
Everybody always talked about him with utter respect, but full of adoration. All the employees were his fans and Namnuea completely understood their reasons. The man was smart, knew how to deal with different people from all over the world, was insanely hot…
"Wait! What are you talking about, Namnuea?!", the guy asked to his reflection in the mirror.
"You can't think that about your boss! Even if he really is hot, handsome, over the top, sweet, gentle, charming, the best smile you ever saw in your life, no! You doing that is the first step to ruining your promotion opportunity!", Namnuea said to the mirror again.
"Maybe you should talk that to him…", a voice said from behind from where he was.
Namnuea was at the bathroom and apparently said all the above out loud before checking if he was alone. He heard the flushing and the door of one of the cabins was opened by the one and only Phamueang!
"Oh dear Lord, why do you hate your own creation like this?", the employee was babbling to himself.
"Cute.", Phamueang said looking at the completely red Namnuea while passing by him to wash his hands. Or maybe he misunderstood what the man said and it was actually "rude" what he really said. He started to overthinking about the near recent events and almost didn't catch up with what the man was currently saying.
"I'd like to ask you something if this doesn't bother you too much. From now on, I'd like to receive the vineyard reports in person. I mean, we could talk about them during a meal, maybe?"
If he didn't know him better, Phamueang sounded almost nervous while asking that, but this time Namnuea was 100% focused on pleasing his boss and just nodded aggressively to show his acceptance without a doubt.
"Ok, then I'll see you at dinner?"
"Yes!", Namnuea smiled brightly.
"Ok, then! It's a date!", and just like that he left the bathroom and a very confused Namnuea behind.
"What do you mean by 'date', sir?", Namnuea muttered to himself.
