Chapter 5= Getting comfortable

Bitch alert don't answer the phone, there's a bitch on the other side of the phone

I yawn as I hear my phone ringing hearing the familiar ringtone, I look over at my brother who is still asleep, I look at the time and see it's 8:35, I reach for my phone and see (y/b/f/n) is calling, I quickly get up to walk out of the room. I swipe it and put it close to my room.

"Hey bitch, how you been" I hear her voice, I smile missing her.

"Hey I'm good, so what's up?" I ask as I close my brothers door and walk to to my room and close the door behind me.

"Nothing I just wanted to check on you, I miss you" she says, I sigh as I lay down on my bed.

"I miss you too, you should come visit sometimes" I suggest, knowing damn well she would.

"Oh thank god you brought that up, o already made plans" she laughs, I laugh hearing her excitement.

"(Y/n)?" I hear my brother knocking at my door.

"Hey I gotta go, my brother just woke up, I'll talk to you later"

"Okay bye I love you bitch" she says as she hungs up, I roll my eyes playfully and get up. I walk to my door and open it to see my brother half asleep, rubbing his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"I'm hungry" he says simply, I couldn't help but smile.

"Okay how I about I cook us something to eat, yeah?" I smile.

"Yes please" he says, I crouch down to pick him and start walking down the stairs to the kitchen, I look around and notice aunt Jill and uncle phill are here, I look down at my phone to check if they messaged me or anything. I see aunt Jill went to work early, and uncle phill went to the gym. I put my brother down, I walk to the fridge and see what I could do.

"What are you in the mood for?" I ask my brother as I turn to look at him

"Eggs" he says simply, I thought for a bit till I got an idea.

"How about sunny side up eggs sandwiches?" I ask.

"Yes please" he says, that's sound so adorable when he says that. I giggle a little as I take out a loaf of bread and put two in a toaster, I take out ham, cheese, tomato, onion, I get a knife and take out the eggs from the fridge.

"Why don't you go to the livingroom and watch tv, I'll call you when I'm done" I tell him, he says okay and walks to the livingroom. I start cutting the tomatoes and onions, as I do 4 more toast breads, I take a small pan out and turn on the stove, I get cooking oil and put a little in the pan, I grab an egg and crack at it, I grab a flat spoon (I'm sorry I don't remember what it's called) and get the oil to get on top of the egg. I quickly grab a toast bread on a plate, put the ham and cheese, tomatoes and onions, I grab the sunny side up egg with the spoon and lay it, I grab the HERDEZ guacamole salsa-medium knowing my brother loves it, and spread it on the egg, I quickly do two more for me the exact same way, I put everything away and grab 2 cups and get some apple juice for us.

"Felix, breakfast is ready" I call out to him, I could hear his feet platter the floor, he sits on the chair, I cut his sandwich in half, and place it in front of him, I pour apple juice and put it next to his plate, I do the same for myself, and start eating.

"This is so good" my brother smiles, I smile.

"Good or else I wouldn't cook for you anymore" I laugh.

"You know I love your food, (y/n)" he says, I smile, I tell him to eat.

*a little timeskip*

I clean up after us as my brother watches tv in the livingroom. I notice the trash is full, and decide to take it out, once I'm done with washing dishes, I tie up the trash bag and start walking to the front door.

"I'll be back Felix, I'm going to throw out the trash" I tell him as I close the door behind me, I start walking to the trash can, I open the lid and throw the trash inside, I cover it as I sigh, I look around the neighborhood and see a lady walking her dog, with a man cutting his grass, like a regular normal neighborhood, it's nice.

I feel that tingle once more, I look over at the neighbors house and see that teenage boy looking at me.

"Did your mother ever tell you it's rude to stare" I tell him as I cross my arms over my chest.

"Sorry, I just have this feeling about you" he says fast, he blushes once he caught on to what he just said.

"I mean not a feeling but umm...oh my god" he sighs out embarrassing. I couldn't help but laugh, I quickly cover my mouth with my hand.

"I'll see you around, lover boy" I say as I start to walk inside the house.

"I think he likes you" my brother says, I look over at him and see his been staring out the window.

"Felix you know it's rude to spy on people" I sternly say.

"I know but I wanted to see if he was good for you" he says.

"Felix there's nothing going on between, besides we just moved here, I don't have time for boys when I already have you" I tell him with a smile, he smiles back and goes back to watch tv, I sigh as I sit down next to him.

"Is the school here good?" My brother ask, I look down at him confused about where the question came from.

"I'm not sure, why what's wrong?" I ask him.

"I just, I don't want to get made fun of" my brother says sadly as he plays with his fingers.

"They won't, and if they do, you always have me to protect you okay" I say as I went and to put my arm around him.

"You promise?" He says.

"A thousand time yes" I smile at him, he start to smile a bit as he looks up at me.

"How about after school tomorrow, I go pick you up and we go to a diner or something, any place you want, would you like that?" I ask him.

"A thousand times yes" he says with a smile, I couldn't help but giggle, knowing for sure that that, a thousand times yes, will be our thing.
