… The Next Day …

.........................

Melody's POV:

.........................

I forced myself to sleep extra hours, than the ones I usually do. I kept over thinking the past events from last night, and trust me the focus was not on the blazer accident. I was thinking more about when Harry and I were sitting at the pool. From what I have noticed, he doesn’t really talk that much around me, and if he does all he says are harsh words. But, he mentioned that I was beautiful… doesn’t that add a point to his advantages? I don’t know what to think anymore, and I guess a little hangout with my friends could cheer me up.

… After the Hangout (Afternoon)…

I return home light minded, and a little distracted from my morning thoughts. As I slide out of my car, I collect my purse and debate whether to take the route from the garden or not. If I do, then there might be a huge possibility that I might meet Harry. And, as funny as it sounds, Its going to be an awkward situation; especially after last night. But the route from the garden is shorter? What the heck, I’ll go from there.

As I clonk my heels on the cement ground, I relax when my eyes don’t detect his existence. He must be still asleep, oh well at least I passed a little awkwardness for now. My happiness disappeared instantly, once he popped out of the guesthouse. He stretches his arms up high, and the action makes his shirt lift a little higher. I notice myself focusing my eyes on his exposed abdomen, and he catches my eyesight. He smirks, and waves his hand at me from his distance, forcing me to wave back. Seriously, just a wave Harry?

He stares at me deeply for long seconds, then tilts his head down. It’s like he is choosing what must he do right now. I, myself, am confused exactly like him. But strangely, looking at him makes me a little calmer; somehow safer if that’s the word for it. He crosses the grass field slowly, making sure not to look at me in the process. Its like he is forcing himself not to look at me anymore, but why though? “Good morning, princess.” Okay…? Are we actually going to start fighting with each other again? “(I huff and whine) Harry, why do you always call me princess? I can tell that you are saying it in sarcasm…” His facial expression seems surprised by my confronting question; I guess he expected me to fire back.

“(His shoots anger in his harsh tone) What? You don’t like being called that? Aren’t you daddy’s princess that cares less about anyone except herself? Isn’t your entire IQ surrounded with shopping and makeup? Tell me, PRINCESS; what’s it like to have everything you want?” My stomach boils, and I find my feelings crack. All of my daydreaming tore like paper from his words. I can’t believe that he’s actually back to this. It’s like yesterday didn’t happen. “I’m not going to answer you. Go to your work, Harry.” I demand cruelly and he laughs in a dark tone, while I walk away from him. He is so bipolar, it’s like he has mixed feelings and personalities; I’m dealing with a lunatic… A handsome lunatic.
