…A Week Later…

.........................
Melody's POV:
.........................

Since the day I have last spoken to Harry, he has not been in sight. It’s like the living ground swallowed him into the seventh core. It’s like he got stuck in the Bermuda Triangle and is nowhere to bee scene anymore. Anne knew about everything, and all what the poor lady could do, is to comfort me by drying my own leaking tears.

She forces me to eat each day, and as much as I hate to let her down; I force the food in. Food and water have turned like rocks, which are hard to swallow. I curse the only thing that has always been an obstacle between Harry and I; the money. The money that made him feel reliable, the money that made me feel in control of his help, and finally… the money that tore us apart like breaking a change of a five dollar bill.

In the search for Harry, I drove myself daily to Niall’s house, hoping that he might have made a possible appearance. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been around his friends since that day. All what I do when I arrive, is cry like the orphan that I am. Not a family orphan, but a love orphan. Love… this is what always sealed any cracks in the relationship we had. The relationship, which Harry never saw a future of.

A few changes have happened with the group, like Liam finally woke up and realised that Sophia is unworthy of his love. Another change is that Eleanor and I built our relationship tighter, even Louis. Louis Tomlinson… this person has been like the guidance book to me all this week. He has given me so many advices to not give up.

Louis convinced me that what Harry and I had, or still have, was never a part of his life before. He told me all about Harry’s flings, and how he used to push any girl that attempted his care. But he didn’t push me; he wanted me just like I wanted him. Just like I wanted his embrace to be the cage of my flying heart. Camille and Philip finally tide the knot, and I couldn’t be any happier for them. They both share the same intellect, and the same perspective in life. Harry and I? We are the complete opposite. As cheesy as this sounds, we are like the ice princess, and the fire warrior; combing us together forms a refreshing vapor of pink and red colours… the colours of true love.

“Earth to Mel.” Eleanor jokes, as she waves her hand in front of me. “Sorry I um… never mind. What were you saying?” My new close friend huffs in understanding and smiles at me. “I was saying, love: We should go to this Gucci fashion show. (I groan in denial and she proceeds in her pleas) Please! I never had been to such expensive and exclusive event. Besides you got the tickets for free, so why waste them when we can enjoy a white dress code fashion show? (I stay silent and I begin to consider her words) Come on, all we ever do is just hang around Niall’s. If you-know-who wanted to come, he would have by now.” I nod slowly, feeling the pain of reality.

“Is that a yes?” She claps her hands repeatedly, and I give her my best attempt of a grin. “FINALLY! Watch out people we are coming through!” I can’t help but laugh with Eleanor; she is been so patient and understanding through this vacant phase. “At least I won’t see you in any dark colours anymore. You look drop dead gorgeous in them, but love its about time you lightened up, okay?” I nod, hoping that this bonding with my friend will help me through my pale situation. Oh Harry, where are you…? Calling you on your phone was a fail, finding you was so hard, but loving and missing you? Were the easiest out of all.
