I sighed as I sat back down at my desk. Daniel always scared me for some reason. He was always so blunt and the way he looked at me was always with a slight glare.

Why was he even mad at me?! He was the one that had gotten the eggs anyway! It was even weirder because he seemed to act that way to everyone. He reminded me of my old cat. She was always rude to the others that she did not like.

Was he an introvert? It would explain a lot because he always seemed to avoid people. I rested my head on my hand. Why did he dislike me? I did not do anything wrong.

I sighed.

"Cahlin?" I heard a voice.

I looked up. There, standing in front of me, was Kathy, my coworker.

"Hi!" she smiled, "Do you want to go and get coffee after work?"

"Yeah, sure!" I smiled back.

She seemed like a good girl. She had been the one to introduce me to everyone. Everyone seemed to be nice.

I remembered the date, I had to get that checked with Will!

"Well, have a good day, Kathy!" I smiled.

"You too!" she replied.

I quickly emailed Will.

I closed out of my email and started to get to work. There was a lot to catch up on since I just joined.

I took a look at my desk. Whoever was the previous secretary was a very tidy person.

I hit my face. I needed to get to work. There were a lot of things to do!

Just as I was about to get to work, I got a notification. It was from Will.

I heard it's your first day at work! Have fun!

I smiled a bit. Will also looked like he was a nice person. It was nice to have good people around me now. It was much better than my last work area. Even my new boss was an upgrade. A big upgrade. I hoped that I would never have to meet him again.

I smirked. That Cahlin girl was kind of cute. And she seemed to like me. Well, I guess I could not help being hot. I laughed. Why did I always think like this?

I got up.

"Alex, I'm going out for a walk," I told my secretary.

"Yes, CEO."

I liked to go on walks every once in a while. I like to show off how handsome I was. What waste would it be if all of this beauty was kept stuck inside an office all day? I loved to show off how lovely I looked.
