Kol's POV

"We can't keep this up Kol." I pace, as Marcel sits in front of me. "We need to tell the girls-they can help us, we can get out of this." Damon says, and I shake my head. "Kol your not thinking straight! We need to say something before it's to late!" My brother goes on. "Kol!" Kai says.

I gasp awake. I should have listened to them... Maybe we wouldn't be in this mess so deep. A knock is heard at my door, as my door opens. "You ok?" Rebekah. I sit up, nodding. "Yeah I'm fine." I was confused at my sisters concern. "I just. You were up pretty late, and I heard you muffling." I frown, "What about?" She shrugs. "Nonsense." I sigh in relief. She can't know. "I'm fine uh, I'll be down in a bit." She nods, leaving. Me and Rebekah may fuss, but she's still my blood.

I make eye contact with Nik, and he simply nods, as do I. He was making coffee, while I was headed out the door. "Going so soon?" My mother asks, and I nod. "I need to meet Davina for something." I slam the door. I wasn't lying. I truly do need to meet her. She's been wanting to tell me something all week, and I had blown her off for my mistake every time. I keep driving until I pull up at Davina's place. She quickly comes out, almost as if she's in a hurry. She gets in the car, smiling. But, she seems off. "Hello darling." I say, and she smiles, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Drive will you?" I frown, but drive. When we get to the school, I lock the doors before she can get out. "What the hell-" "What's up with you today?" She frowns, "Nothing. Now let me out please." I adjust, sitting in the seat so I'm facing her. "You wanted to tell me something all week, and now your urging to get away from me?" She sighs, "You really wanna know?" I nod.

Davina's POV

"Sybil jumped Bonnie at the party. She's still kinda recovering, but she'll be ok." His eyes widen. "W-why?" I look down. I can't tell him about are plans for Aurora and the others.. I sigh, putting on my best performance. "Because of Kai. Selene wanted him and with this bet-plus Bonnie's mouth." He looks down. "Davina I-I'm sorry I didn't-I just-" "In all honesty Kol, the reason I'm keeping my distance is because of you and your crew. Damon cheated on Kat, now Bonnie, I mean, who's next? Caroline? I can't keep having them get hurt because of this." He looks down again, "I didn't know Damon-" "Yeah. With Elena." He scoffs. "So what. Is this the end?" I shake my head. "It doesn't have to be. We can continue till the deadline, and move on with our lives after that." We stare at one another for a bit. It was a small car, so we were pretty close. I place a hand on his cheek. "Kol I-" "If we're causing that much harm, we'll keep up the week as it is, and call it quits Sunday." It was currently Tuesday. "Kol..." He unlocks the door. I take the hint, taking my hand off of his face, and leaving his car.

Bonnie's POV

I was almost completely healed. After what that bitch did, I still got little ways to go. The stitches are bad, the bruising sucks. But knowing she got to me is worse pain then any scratch. I stand up, aching at the pain in my back and, well everywhere. "Now what are you doing out of bed?" I look at the door, seeing him in all his glory. "Kai? What are you doing you have school." I say, and he comes closer, helping me back in bed. "Well, the girls needed more school then me. I took a sick day." He smirks, and I scoff, "Yeah well it will be your fault when your not graduating." He chuckles. We sit in silence for a bit. "Need anything? Water? Food? More blankets?" I laugh, "If I take anymore blankets, I'm going to burn to death." We laugh, and I snuggle into my bed. "Kai. Can I ask you a question?" He nods, "Sure Bon Bon." I sit up.

"Why did you come over today? My grams is off work in an hour, and I can walk." He looks like he doesn't wanna tell me, but he smiles. "Can't I check up on my girlfriend?" He smirks, and I frown. "But that's just it. I'm not your actual girlfriend. It's a bet. This wasn't in the contract, so why do the work? Why skip a day that could have been amazing chaos to come and handle your sick fake girlfriend?" He looks around, avoiding eye contact. "Bonnie uh, I think your thinking way to deep into this. I'm just visiting my favorite smartass, but, if you'd rather me go-" "Kai. That's not what I meant." He turns back around. I wave him over, and he sits at the end of my bed, sitting my legs on his lap. "I guess uh, I guess I care about you..." I give him a small smile. I scoot towards him until my thighs are on his lap. "That's all you had to say." I give him a soft kiss. But the kiss wasn't rushed, or hungry, or lustful. It was gentle, slow, passionate. We pull away, and he smiles. "Still want me to go to school?" I laugh, and we spent the rest of the day watching Disney movies and cuddling.
