The tears. How naive we were. We thought we had the world in our hands.

Davina's POV

Me and the girls were all sitting at Katherines apartment. Waiting for a call, a text. Klaus, Damon, and Marcel all at the house with us. We needed something. We needed to know something about what was going on. Everything went down hill yesterday...

Yesterday, 9:04 am

We were all on the bus. Me sitting beside Caroline, then Rebekah, Katherine and Bonnie in the seat behind us. Kol and Klaus were in a seat, Then Marcel, and Kai. Damon didn't go for some reason. This was a field trip. The field trip. Elijah was in the front, talking with some teachers. "So, what do you think the motel gonna be like?" Carline asks, and I shrug, "I hope it has a pool." She smiles, and looks at her phone for the millionth time today. I groan, "What is so important on that damn phone?" I ask her, and she quickly turns it off. "Nothing." She says, and I frown, but then look behind, the row on the other side, to see Klaus smirk at his phone. "Caroline. What'a doing?" I ask her, and she rolls her eyes. "I said nothing! Now, back to pretty motel talk. I was thinking......." That convo went on for awhile.

7:37 pm

We finally arrive at the motel we're staying at. It was ok I guess. Not the princess palace Care imagined, but it was good enough. "Alright everyone. I'm gonna give you a key, and your gonna pick a room. One person per room." I look at the girls. "Alright so-" "I'm going with Elena. I need to talk to her about something." Katherine says, walking ahead, taking Elena with her and grabbing a key as she exits the bus like everyone else. I nod, "Alright then. Bex, your with me. Bonnie and Care." I say, and they nod. We all exit the bus, and find our rooms. Kai went with Kol, Marcel went with Klaus.

8:22 pm

Rebekah was currently in the shower, while I was on my phone texting Bonnie. "HEY DAVINA!" She shouts. "WHAT!" I shouts back. "CAN YOU GET ME SOME XLEAN TOWELS? THESE ONES HAVE SOME UH, STAINS OR SOMETHING?" I scrunch my face in disgust. "Yeah!" I shout back, and hesitantly get up. I put my shoes back on and head out.

When I get to the front desk, the lady is standing there. "Hi, can I get some fresh towels?" I ask her, and she nods. "Sure thing sweetheart." She goes and gets the towels, and I'm left standing there. "Well this is a pleasant surprise." I turn around to see Kaleb. "What do you want." I say, turning back around to not see him. "You but, I think that options closed." I nod, "Your right." He comes closer, making me want to move. But I need these towels. "You know, ever since that seen in the hallway at the pep rally, remember?" He nod, "Vividly." He chuckles. "I've been, thinking. You've changed. Obviously. Your different. Better. Sexier." I scoff, "What do you want Kaleb?" He chuckles. "I wanna say, I'm sorry." The woman comes back with the towels. I grab them, nodding at her. I turn around, "Bullshit." I say, and start walking, but he grabs my arm. "Let go-" "Hey! Get the bloody off of her!" Someone shoved him, and I see Kol. "I had that." I say, and he looks at me. "Sure you did darling." Kaleb chuckles.

"Your boyfriend won't protect you forever. He's gonna leaves you. Just like everyone else."I spit at him. "HEY! Take it somewhere else!" The lady shout, and I grab Kol's hand. "Come on" I say, dragging him away from Kaleb. "Go ahead! Run you stupid bitch!" I ignore him though. Taking Kol with me.

When we get somewhere better, Kol smiles. "You know, I love it when your acting all tough." I frown, "What the hell has gotten into you?" He smirks, pushing me against the wall right by my motel room. "You have." He bites his lip a bit. "Ever since that uh, fight we had.. I've been thinking. A lot. Kai told me some stuff, and I wanted to say, sorry. I don't know what business is going on with you but, I shouldn't have reacted the way I did." Im speechless. Im blinking like a crazy person, and my mouth is try as hell. He looks so sexy right now-but the plan. I'm mad. I hate him. He's bad. Bad Davina-stop it! "Kol-are you drink or something?" He chuckles. "Really? I have to be drunk to tell my actual feelings?" I'm so confused. "What actual feelings? Kol this is fake. It's a bet we're not actually-" He kisses me. He really kisses me. It's hot, and not rushed. It's, beautiful. It's different then the ones before. This one felt, real. He pulls away. "Did that feel fake?" I let out a shaky breath. This cannot be happening right now.

2:03 am

Me and Rebekah were sound asleep. I was thinking of what Kol said. What he did. He left and the r that, leaving me. Standing there to do what I will with that information he left me. The very little information he left me. But then, out of no where, sirens are being heard. Police sirens.

Me and Rebekah jump to our feet to see what's happening. We get outside, running down the railing stairs to get to the ground. There, everyone is gathered. "Kol Mikaelson. Marcel Gerard. Your under arrest for the murder of Matt Donovan." My eyes widen, as they have the boys in hand cuffs. "No!" Rebekah screams, trying to get into the crowd, but Elijah holds her back. "Kol.." I whisper, and makes eye contact with me. "NO! NO! STOP!" Kai comes running threw the crowd, Klaus behind him. "Kai no!" Klaus shouts, and Kai gets to the cops. "Stop! Stop! It was me! It wasn't them!" Kai says, and the cops look at one another. "We have fingerprint proof of Mr. Mikaelson-" "But not Gerard. It was me. I promise. Kol was, an accomplice, I get that but it was me." The cops look at one another. Kai puts his hands up, smiling. "I killed Matt Donovan. It was me." Everyone gasps, and Bonnie comes running. "NO! Kai please stop! No!" She cries, and Caroline and Katherine try and hold her back. "PLEASE!" She shouts, sobbing. Kai let's a tear fall down his face, not glancing at the girl. "Kai, what are you doing." Marcel says through gritted teeth. "I don't regret it officer." He smirks. "In fact. I'd do it again." The officers take the handcuffs from Marcel, and put them on Kai. He winced. "No!" I shout.

"Wait please no! Please you don't-he didn't do anything! Please!" I shout, as they put Kol in the cop car. Kids whisper in the crowd, while tears fall from my eyes. "You don't understand he's lying! Please he just-please!" Bonnie shouts, "Stand back ladies." One of the officers says. "Get the hell off of him! Stop!" Klaus shouts, trying to get his brother back. But the cops didn't care.

Kai and Kol,

Were going to jail,

For murder.
