I know it's been a little while, but I'm back. So, please don't be mad.

Kol's POV

"You know Damon still owes me 70 bucks. When we get executed after trial, I'm so gonna haunt the shit out of him." I ignore him. "Oh and after the judge ruled us guilty for murder, I'm definitely not letting Klaus have my laptop, hell no." He laughs, while I continue to ignore him. "What do you think our last words should be? I think it should be something badass like, oh! Like 'tonight, we fall' and then you'd say, 'tomorrow, we rise' and we like, leave people questioning if we're really dead or not." I squeeze my eyes shut tight. Trying to block out the noise. We were in a tiny holding cell, alone. And for the past 6 hours he's been going on and on and it's been a whole 2 days. "Oh! Or-" "Kai just shut the bloody hell up!" He scoffs, "Someones upset that we're gonna die-"

I stand up, grabbing him by his shirt. "We didn't kill anybody and you know that! We're not going on trail! We're not going to be executed, and if you say we're gonna die one more time so help me Merlin you won't live to see your next birthday." He's breathing heavy, "Kol, I won't live to see my next birthday anyway." I frown, "Why not?" He frowns to, "Well, cause the jury is gonna send us to death row and-" He laughs as I push him back onto his seat, turning away from him. "Oh come on. You know we're going down for this? Don't play stupid dude. There's no way we're getting out of this one." I grip onto the bars. "We wouldn't be in this mess if we just called the police." He laughs, "We were drunk and driving in the middle of the night, and found a dead body. We were going down either way."

Kai's POV

2 more hours later, is was 2 pm. A police officer comes around, it's Liz. Caroline's mom. "You both get one phone call each. 15 minutes alright boys?" She was sincere. She didn't think we did it, we knew that. But we also knew-or I did at least, there was no way to clean this up. We had fingerprints, no alibi, there was physical evidence. We were shit outta luck. I go first, being in hand cuffs, as she leads me to the phone. She walks away, as I sit down. I think of who to call. My father-no. God no. Liv? Probably not. Not Luke. Jo is at work. Bonnie...

I dial the number, getting nervous all of a sudden. Soon, she picks up. "Hello?" I smile, "Hey Bonester." She pauses, her voice lowering. "Kai?" I laugh, "We tried to visit or speak to you guys but they-they wouldn't let us they said we could they said-" "Hey, sh. Calm down. It's ok." She breathes. "Are you ok?" I laugh again. Covering trauma with humor. Dot we all? "I'm doing great! Really. I got a nice set up. Great security, lovely beds. My roommate is a little annoying but, besides that's it's pretty snazzy." "Kai we're gonna help you guys." I sigh, gripping the phone. "I don't know about that one Bon Bon." I can already hear her pacing and shaking her head over the phone.

"No, don't say that. We're gonna get you out of this. I promise." I chuckle, "Yeah ok." "I'm serious Kai. Your not going to jail for something you didn't do, ok?" I nod. "Yeah alright Bon." There's silence, before she speaks again. "Try to call me again tomorrow ok?" I nod again, and before she leaves, I stop her. "You know I gotta do the cringe lovers goodbye." She laughs, as do I. "I love you Bon. I really do." I still can't believe myself, but now that I know I can't stop myself. Love is a drug. And I'm addicted. "I love you to Kai."
