Katsuki’s POV:
I stared up at the sky filled with grey clouds. It’s like the atmosphere can sense how emotionless and numb my body is. The tree branches sway with the wind. I look down at my hands holding the small silver urn. This isn’t how this was supposed to go. We were supposed to be happy forever. Nothing was supposed to separate us from each other. But here I stand holding what’s left of my sweet husband.
I twist the lid off the jar and a tear slowly runs off of my cheek. I turn the urn and let the ashes blow in the wind. I remind myself this was what he wanted. To be by the tree that we spent every hour at when out of that god forsaken place. I put the lid back on the bottle and looked at where we sat and carved our initials into the tree. K and H in a heart. The word forever right under them. If only forever actually meant forever. I rub my fingers across it one last time and walk towards the car.
