Living in the city opposed to out of the city was different. I missed living in the tower instead of the compound. Everything was closer and it was good to walk.
Whenever I see the tower though it makes me feel guilty. It wasn't wrong of me go leave them but I somehow felt uneasy about it.
It was raining outside today so the walk to the coffee shop would be dreadful. I grabbed my umbrella before walking out, hopefully it would guard me from some of the rain.
Walking down the street wasn't bad, apart from the fact my new shoes were soaked. It was only a 10 minute walk so I couldn't complain that much.
As I approached the coffe shop and was about to open the door, the door opened before I got to it. I looked behind me and I saw a familiar face. Quicksilver.
I recognized him from the X-Men. The Avengers and X-Men have never had anything to do with eachother. We all fought our own battles, and never interfered with one another.
I was pulled out of my trance when he said something "You're an Avenger!" I smiled back at him.
"Ex-Avenger, but you're an X-Men." I was excited to finally meet one of them.
"We should probably get inside its raining."
"Oh yeah." I said.
We walked into the cafe and sat down at a table.
"So whats your name Quicksilver?"
"Peter. Peter Bohner."
I tried not to laugh at the last name but he could tell. "It's fine you can laugh, it's a funny name." I looked him in the eye and just started laughing.
He started laughing with me. "Alright since you think mines so funny whats yours?"
I sighed, not even wanting to say my last name. "Amber Stark."
"Oh your Tony's daughter!" He said with realization.
I sighed "Unfortunately."
"What do you mean unfortunately?"
I told him everything that happened between me and the Avengers, and about Pietro. He had some special interest in Pietro because of the fact they both had superspeed.
"You're too good for him, don't sweat about it. It's only been 2 weeks, give it time he will come crawling back to you. And when he does break his heart." I laughed at his response and he smiled at me.
We talked for a long time and we really clicked. I've known him for a couple hours and I fell like I've known him my whole life.
I noticed the time and realized I needed to be at SHIELD in an hour.
"I probably should get going, SHIELD wants me there in an hour." I frowned.
"Thats alright! Hand me your phone I'll put my number in it."
I gave him my phone and he added his number into it. I smiled at him and said goodbye and walked out of the cafe and texted him.

Hey stranger! Got any plans tomorrow?
Peter
Nope, wanna come to my place?"
Amber
You bet! See you tomorrow speedy ;)
