This is part 1 of the throwback Christmas series! This was the Christmas before I decided to start writing this book!
Disclaimer: This was before me and Pietro even started dating so I did have a crush on him 😭
I woke up extremely early today because Tony promised me today everyone would help decorate the compound for Christmas. It's my favorite holiday and I'm so excited. I looked out the window and it was snowing. Perfect. "Jarvis, wake everyone up for Christmas decorating."
I knew they would kill me for this but it's worth it. "Of course Ma'am." I jumped up from my bed and ran to my closet. I put on a pair of my Christmas Pajama pants and a matching dark green tanktop.
Once I was fully ready I walked into the commons area. Tony and Steve were already out there bringing boxes and boxes of Christmas decorations out. Steve of course being Steve carrying about 3 in each hand as Tony was struggling with the one he was carrying.
"If you're going to wake us up this early at least make us coffee." Tony said as he dropped the box on the ground and stretched out his back. I laughed and walked into the kitchen to make coffee for everyone. Bucky eventually joined Steve in bringing the boxes in as Tony left to sit on the couch and drink coffee.
About 15 minutes later everyone else came into the commons area looking extremely tired, and all of the boxes were in, thanks to Steve and Bucky, and Tony for the whole 3 boxes he carried in.
I turned the fireplace on and started playing Christmas music. "Okay you seem like you're in charge little Stark give us stuff to do." Thor said with a big smile on his face. This is Thor's 3rd Christmas since they didn't have it in Asgard and he LOVED IT. Probably just as much as me.
"Alright, Dad, Steve, and Sam you guys work on the outside of the compound, try not to kill eachother please." I said with a semi-sarcastic smile on my face.
"Natasha, Clint, and Bruce you guys work on putting the decorations up downstairs." I said pointing at the boxes.
"Thor, Bucky, and Wanda put the decorations up on this floor please." I obviously had to put my favorites together.
"And Peter- where the hell is Peter." I sometimes forget he doesn't actually live here.
"Happy is still getting him they will be here soon, you kind of woke us up with no warning."
"True. Anyways Peter, Pietro, and I will work on the tree." I looked over at Pietro and he gave me 2 thumbs up with a big smile on his face.
"Oh of course you choose to work with your friends." Sam rolled his eyes.
Tony put his hand over his heart "That hurt my feelings bird man."
"Anyways, get to work or I'm not getting you guys presents!" I said as I watched everyone run to grab boxes.
"We have to wait for Peter so we can go pick out the tree." I said as I slumped onto the couch. Pietro sat down next to me and put his arm around me. It wasn't unusual for him or Peter to do this because we're best friends.
I listened to the Christmas music as I watched the fireplace. I pulled my knees up to my chest and leaned into Pietro more enjoying the company. I was pulled out of my daze when the elevator dinged and Peter walked in.
"FINALLY LET'S GO." I stood up quickly pulling Pietro without noticing he was asleep. He fell and my hand went to my mouth trying not to laugh.
"Ow." He said standing up and scratching his neck. I grabbed his and Peter's hand and walked into the elevator swinging my arms.
