Lucy didn't care why she was doing this anymore, she just knew she had to run for it before she got into more trouble than she already has. Anime tears flowed down her cheeks as she imagined her boss finding out that she kidnapped a child.

Once they reached Lucy and Luke's house, Lucy sprinted in. "Oh, mama you're here alrea-," Luke's sentence was stopped when he saw his panting mother and the extremely confused Nashi in her arms.

The room was silent for a couple seconds when Luke started yelling.

"YOU KIDNAPPED A CHILD?!?!?"

"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!!"

"HOW DO YOU ACCIDENTALLY KIDNAP A CHILD?!?!?!"

"I DIDN'T KIDNAP HER!!!"

This went on for a few seconds when Nashi made herself slip out of Lucy's arms and look at the two.

"They seem like nice people"

Nashi thought. "Who are you?" Nashi asked. "Oh! Um... sorry about that.... my name's Luke. Luke Heartfilia. 7 years old." Luke said, holding out his hand. Nashi gladly accepted.

"Nashi Dragneel! And I'm 7 years old too!" Nashi said cheerfully. "Oh, nice to meet you Nashi Drag-," Lucy cut short when she stopped smiling. Luke furrowed his brows and was at a loss for words for a few seconds.

"YOU KIDNAPPED A CELEBRITY'S CHILD?!?!"

"I TOLD YOU IT ISN'T KIDNAPPING!!!"

Lucy sighed as she rubbed her temple. "Anyways, we should return her. Sorry I... took you away from home, but-,"

"Kidnapping"

Luke interrupted his mother with a frown. Lucy sighed before continuing. "But, I promise to take you back home. I don't know why I took you, I guess I thought you looked really familiar for some reason..." Lucy mumbled the last part.

"Now that you mention it, you two look practically identical!" Luke said. "Really?" Nashi asked, looking in a mirror.

"Hey... yeah!" Lucy said after getting a better look at themselves in the mirror. "You know what? You could be my daughter!" Lucy joked. "I might just call you mommy!" Nashi said, making Lucy stop laughing and freeze up.

"I-I was just kidding! I-I didn't actually mean it! Haha.." Lucy chuckled awkwardly, making Nashi look down in sadness. "Oh..." she said.

Lucy widened her eyes at the cuteness, and felt a pang of guilt in her heart. "Oh, but you can call me mommy if you'd like!" Lucy said, cheering Nashi up instantly. "Really?!" Nashi cheerfully said. Lucy giggled. "Yeah!"

"Well, I'll be going to cook dinner. You two can chat for a little while, Kay?" Lucy said, leaving the room and closing the door with a click.

"Let's reintroduce each other. There's gotta be a relationship between us. It's not possible for two strangers to look completely alike." Luke said, getting straight to the point. Nashi nodded.

"I don't have a dad. 7 years old, Lucy Heartfilia is my mama." Luke said, handing Nashi a lollipop. "I don't have a mommy. 7 years old, Natsu Dragneel is my daddy." Nashi said, accepting the lollipop.

"Hey, you know what we could do? We could make my daddy and your mommy fall in love with each other!" Nashi said. "All we need to do is get some of their DNA. I can get a strand of my mama's hair." Luke said.

"I can get a strand of my daddy's hair too!" Nashi said. "Let's do this!" Both yelled in unison as they clapped hands.
