"Stop it, isn't she your fiancé?" Lucy stated. "Only in name, sweetheart. Only in name." Natsu replied. Lucy frowned and felt sympathy for this woman. What was so bad about this Lisanna? Was she really a devil in disguise? Why is Natsu upset about Lisanna being his fiancé?
Questions like these were running through Lucy's head at that moment.
And thanks to Lucy's big questioning mouth, she had to ask some questions. "Why?" But this time it wasn't Lucy asking the questions. "What do you mean why?" Natsu asked. There was a hint of venom in his voice, even though it wasn't directed to Luke, it made him flinch.
Natsu mumbled a sorry before answering his question. "Because she's a disgusting pig that hangs around me way too much." Natsu spoke as he cringed his nose together. Luke made a troubled expression. Natsu tried to elaborate after seeing Luke's expression.
"You'll know when you get to meet her. But wish that you won't even get that chance. If you see a woman with short white hair and looks like she has a pet poodle, make a run for it."
Natsu spoke. His attitude towards Lisanna was starting to really tick Lucy off. But she couldn't say anything unless she actually met her. A good reporter doesn't jump to conclusions the moment she thinks something is wrong or right. That is the saying Lucy has lived by her whole life.
And thankfully, she kept to that saying. Three hours passed as Lucy and Luke stood in front of the doors of the glass building. The three chefs accompanying them, dressed in normal wear.
"This is it?" Happy asked. Lucy glanced at the building address attached to the side of the door, and shifted her glance at the map she was given. "It's what it says." Lucy replied.
"Looks nice." Lector commented. "Frosch thinks so too!" Frosch exclaimed, shooting her arms in the air and twirling around. Frosch wore a pink skirt she usually couldn't wear when she was cooking, and a green spotted frog hoodie. Her green hair was over her shoulders, matching the hoodie perfectly.
A big pink bow was clipped to Frosch's hair on the very top. Between you and me, she only wore it because Lector told her it looked good on her.
"Let's go in then." Luke started walking to the door. Lucy and the three chefs followed behind. The directions to the right room were pretty simple. "The room with the brown door." Lucy sarcastically spoke.
They all turned their heads, looking at each brown door in the hallway. Frosch laughed. "They're silly!" A silent tick mark grew on her forehead. Yes, Frosch can get pissed.
"Let's just start by asking one of the people who work here." Lector spoke. "Aye, sir." Happy gloomily spoke. "Helloooo~!" Frosch sang as she opened the door down the hallway, startling the others.
"Frosch!" Lector whispered. "Get back here!" He moved his lips widely, so that Frosch could lip read as well. She could understand both methods, but she didn't listen. A blue-haired man came out with a camera hung around his neck. "Are you guys the new models? Hurry in, you're late!"
The man dragged the four in the room, revealing a pool. The humidity made the room warm. "Hey guys, I got them! They were just standing in front of the door!" The man called. "Haha, newbs." Another man commented. "Oh don't torture them, Wakaba. They're new models!" a woman stood up for the five.
"If you see a woman with short white hair and looks like she has a pet poodle, run for it."
Natsu's words suddenly came into Lucy's mind. "Umm, are you Lisanna Strauss?" Lucy asked the woman. The woman turned her head towards Lucy and the others. Lucy swore that she saw Lisanna's eye twitch for a split second.
"Wow, Lis. You're pretty famous, aren't you!" The man, Wakaba laughed. "Haha, you and Macao are pretty famous yourselves!" Lisanna flattered the two men. The three chuckled at each other.
"Excuse me," Lector interrupted. "Ah, yes. The new models, is that right? Err..." Macao mumbled, walking towards a computer and typing out some words.
"For the photo shoot in hall B, we need a girl and boy pair who can model the "sour and sweet" concept..." Macao spoke, looking up at the five candidates.
"You and you." Macao pointed at Frosch, then Lector. "Eh? Sir, I think this is a misunderstanding, we're not-,"
"What are you two still doing here? Go! Shoo! Off to hall B! Room 206." Wakaba rushed, interrupting Lector. "But-," "No buts! The only buts I take are from women!" Wakaba shouted at them. Frosch laughed hysterically at Wakaba's horrible joke as she was rushed out of the room, mentally cursing at him.
The door slammed behind them, leaving Happy, Lucy, and Luke in the room. Wakaba groaned as he scratched his head. "Ugh, noobies give me headaches." He complained.
"Anyways, we need a little boy who can hold his breath for more than 2 minutes. The last one was sent to the ER after practicing too much."
Macao spoke to the three, glancing at Luke. "Little boy, can you hold your breath for 3 minutes?" Wakaba's scratchy voice asked. "Uhh, yeah." Luke hesitantly said, not really wanting to participate.
"Great! We have our model! Step in the dressing room, if you please."
Short chapter, sorry. I know, I'm working on it! I'm working on it!
