The Galaxy would change for the worse or better, it depends on who you ask. If you ask the Laitian people, life is so much better. If you asked nations occupied by the United Planets, they would say that it has caused immense destruction to their homes and people. Now, there is much more order and stability in the outer reigons.

Laitis grew in terms of Economic and Industrial Capacity. They used to have 23 Million Factories, but now have 35 Million factories. This increases productivity by 150%, making them even more terrifying. 40% of these factories are located on Gourma.
They are the dominant Superpower, and the NC and the New U.P. Allies have finally clashed heads on the Planet of Callisto. Many Speculate a War is brewing, but no one knows if the NC is prepared for such a conflict.
The Galaxy started to regain its businesses and Massive Ports on uninhabited worlds again, as populations started to become better off again.
