Last time we got to see Nolan participate in a Trial of Diablo and he ended up meeting Projekt Melody after she crashed into a train. Now he's taking her body back to get repairs, what could possibly go wrong?
Nolan road down the street as he felt Melody's remaining arm wrapped around him as they rode towards the Melody's agency. "So why are you in those races anyway? You said you do maintenance on your bike, couldn't you be like a mechanic?" Melody asked as she rested her chin on Nolan's shoulder. "Well I do, have a small warehouse where I repair people's cars. The thousands I make from the races I slowly add to my bank account that way it can be used for necessities for life." Nolan explained as he didn't take his eyes off the road. "I mean that's a lot of money, twenty thousand, that's a lot for one person." Melody said as she tilted her head to the side slightly.
Nolan sighed as he knew that the Trials of Diablo weren't the most straight laced thing in the world, but he also know it was supported by some rather powerful individuals. "Well the Trials are entertainment for rather wealthy individuals, so you know the law tends to turn a blind eye. Think of it like betting on sports, you know if sports had a rather high chance of landing you in intensive care or kill you." Nolan explained as Melody thought about it for a second before shrugging her shoulder. "Well regardless, your pretty fast." Melody said before she told Nolan to take a turn down a backroad as they were nearing a white office building that had a sign with a large pink "V" on it.
Nolan parked in the almost completely empty parking lot before putting down the kickstand and killing the engine. "Alright, let's get you in there so you can walk." Nolan said as he picked Melody off the back of his motorcycle before slowly carrying her towards the front door. "You know you don't have to be so careful right? My body isn't fragile like a human's, plus I can't really feel pain." Melody said as she was confused why his was being care. "Android body or not your still a person, that means you should be treated like one." Nolan mumbled absentmindedly as he pushed the door open before entering the agency.
Melody let a small smile before slapping Nolan on the chest with her only remaining hand. "You come off as the silent loner type, but your just a big softy!" Melody teased as she started to laugh. "Softy? I'm not generally fond of people, I just think people should be judged on their character, not their appearance or abilities." Nolan said as he continued down the eerily empty agency. "You don't have to be fond of people to be a good person." Melody said as they finally reached a door with Melody's name on it. "Alright just lay me down on the table, the machines will do the rest of the work." Melody said before Nolan set her on the table before exiting the room and waiting outside the room.???????????
Somewhere else in the agency an alert that an intruder had entered the building. "What the fuck?" A girl with pink hair that had a few dark streaks in it. The girl noticed the intruder alert was located near Melody's room. The girl then started stomping towards the door. "Whoever has the balls to break into our agency is getting them ripped clean off!" The girl shouted in anger as she exited to room and started making her way towards Melody's room. "I wonder if any of the others got the alert?" The pink haired girl thought to herself as she knew the intruder didn't stand a chance against any of the VShojo members.Back with Nolan
Nolan was on his phone as he heard loud banging and mechanical noises from Melody's room. "Android or not, I'm glad she can't feel pain if those are the noises made when her body gets repaired." Nolan thought to himself as he heard the clicking of heels as he turned to see a girl that appeared to be five foot, five inches. She had long blue and pink hair, a rather beautiful appearance and friendly disposition.
