Last time Nolan ended up meeting one Ryan Shade and explained the incident of the Diablo Trial with the former MILF members. Now Nolan has to figure out what to do about some new developments.
Things had certainly gotten weird since Ryan Shade had walked into Nolan's warehouse. For one the bigwigs that run the Diablo Trials found out about Mel's little recording of the last Trial being posted on the Onion Router. Although instead of Nolan's worst fears being confirmed, it was a notification through the Trials App. The notification stated that big changes maybe coming to the Trials in the near future and to stay tuned. With that potential disaster completely being avoided, Nolan decides to turn his attention towards the other big issue on his mind.
Nolan was searching up any nearby hospitals as he placed called to see if any of them had three motorcyclists had recently been checked in. While Nolan couldn't exactly reveal why he was looking for these three due to the Trials being a secret. Strangely enough that very thing also gave him the perfect explanation for his inquiry. Nolan simply stated that they were friends of his that he would go on cross country motorcycle trips with when they were all off of work. Nolan didn't feel great about lying, but he couldn't risk those former MILF members exit that hospital without handcuffs.
Nolan was currently in his bedroom as he was currently wearing his old pizza boy uniform that he wore back in his high school days. "I can't believe I'm actually about to do this, questionable street races sure, but sneaking into a hospital? What has my life become?" Nolan mumbled to himself as he clipped the pizza boy cap to his belt before grabbing the keys to his motorcycle. Nolan made his way downstairs as he grabbed a pizza he ordered a half hour ago before stuffing it in the pizza box backpack. "Thank god Granny is out with her friends today." Nolan mumbled to himself as he exited his home, locking the door behind him.On the Road
Nolan was currently riding down the street as he made his way towards the hospital as he still mentally reviewed his current life decisions. "I'm trying to get three members of a defunct extremist group to get them arrested so my friends don't end up killing them. What the hell has my life become?" Nolan thought to himself as he increased the speed of his motorcycle. Nolan knew that he was in a way doing the right thing, despite the questionable actions he was getting ready to preform to achieve this goal. "Well it's better then letting the girls murder three guys." Nolan mumbled to himself as he continued on his way towards the hospital.
Nolan was getting closer to the hospital's location as he could feel himself getting a little nervous. "Why am I doing this? It's not like any of the girls talked me into this, I came up with this whole plan myself!" Nolan thought to himself as he was starting to really question his own sanity. Suddenly a small box appeared in the visor of his helmet that displayed Melody in her room. After the whole Trial mess decided to upgrade his helmet that had a heads up display that all of the girls could use to communicate with him. The girls would use their streaming gear to communicate with him through these means.
"What's up Mel? I'm kind of busy right now." Nolan said as he had no plans of revealing his scheme to any of the VShojo girls. "I'm just checking in on you, you've been kind of distant since Ryan stopped in for a visit." Melody said with genuine worry in her voice as she waited for a response. "Look, I've just had a lot of stuff to think about since then. I mean it's not everyday you meet a war hero that has untold magical power. On top of that I've been trying to process all the stuff that goes on in the magical world." Nolan said telling only half of the truth to the A.I. girl.
Another box popped up on the other corner of his visor as Silvervale was displayed within it. "Oh so you just decide to go silent on us? What's your problem Nolan? Aren't we your friends?" Silvervale asked in a tone that was a mixture of hurt and anger. "Silver, look I do want to talk to you guys about all this crazy stuff I've been learning about. I just need some time alone to process everything." Nolan said as he hoped to get through to the wolf girl. Both girls remained silent for a moment as if they were trying to decide how they felt about Nolan's reason.
"Sorry Nolan....you just went silent and we got really worried is all. Froot especially has been losing her cool. Then again I haven't been doing much better in that regard either." Silvervale explained as her ears flattened against her head in what was easily defined as sadness. Nolan did his best not to look at the box displaying Silver as he hated making the girls worry about him like this. "It's okay Nolan, take your time, just remember that we're here for you." Melody said before both of the girls cut communication with Nolan before he could try and apologize.
