Oneshot II - Hung On A Thread

Hey, just a warning that this oneshot it sad. Sorry, when I'm sad, I write sad stuff. Just a warning, read at your own risk.

I stepped into the clean yet depressing hospital room. There laid my true love. My beautiful Aaron Ash. His face was pale and sunken in, dark circles under his eyes seeming like he hasn't slept in days. His cheek and collarbones were sticking out, as if he had no more muscle, just skin and bones. He had no more hair from the chemo that wasn't working. When he saw me come into the room, he smiled to his cheeks with his beautiful brown eyes. His eyes. They were like melting chocolate. They melted my heart. I strided over to Aaron's hospital bed, clutching something in my hand I received from the doctor to end this.

"Hey sweetness." I said putting my hand onto the side of Aaron's bony face. He takes the wrist of my hand as tears stream down his face. "Hi Mawk." He whispered. It was silent for a minute except for the shaky breathing coming from Aaron. "Do you have them, Mawk?" Aaron murmured through sad tears. He looked up to me for an answer. I nodded as tears stinged my eyes. I clenched the bottle tightly. Aaron smiled again and chuckled, "Let's get this over with." 

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I nodded. "Aren't you scared?" I asked through tears. Aaron shook his head as I unsteadily opened the bottle. "No, because I know I'll be in a better place." I let out a heavy sounding noise and started to cry even harder. Aaron now took the side of my face and giggled, "It's okay." A warm tear rolled onto Aaron's hand and trickled down his arm. "Pill please?"

I looked into the bottle of pills. It said it should kill him in five minutes with only one pill. I feebly took one out. "D-Do you have a class of water?" I manage to say through my tears. Aaron nodded. "Wait, Mawk. I have two requests." I looked at him and forced a smile. "Anything for you dear." Aaron dizzily took a breath, "Could I die in your arms a-and have you sing our song?" I nodded and started to take the equipment off of him. The I.V stings him as I took it out. He winced, but I kissed his forehead to make him feel better. I grabbed the glass of water and I still had the pill in my hand.

We sat down in a chair. I cradled him like a baby. "You ready?" I asked through my tears. "Because I'm about to kill you." I chuckled and Aaron chuckled back. "I am." He paused for a minute before saying, "I love you." I smiled and I instantly knew my response, "I love you more." Aaron gave his last true smile through tears, "I love you most." I slowly fed him the pill and the water. He swallowed and nuzzled in my shoulder. I started to rock him as I started singing.  

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make my happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away."

I paused to see if he was still breathing. He was, so I kept going.

"The other night dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamt I held you in my arms. When I awoke dear, I was mistaken. So I held my head and I cried."

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away."

"I'll always love you and make you happy, if you would only say the same. If you leave me to love another, you'll regret it all someday."

I look down at Aaron to see if he is still breathing. He doesn't move. He's gone. My tears fall onto his lifeless face and body. I leaned down to kiss him on the forehead.

"Please don't take my sunshine away."

OMG I'M SO SORRY THAT WAS SAD. Ya I am seriously really sorry. I pinky promise the next one will be extremely fluffy, or maybe smut ;). (Also I posted the song Mark sang to Aaron.) Love ya cuties!
