Oneshot III - Lost Kitten

"Why are you doing this, Mawk?" 

Aaron sighed. He couldn't believed that Mark was painting kitty whiskers onto his face. 

"Because," Mark whined before continuing, "I think you would look adorable!" 

Mark then makes the last whisker and grabs another brush, dabbing pink paint onto it. "Oh, come on! A pink nose?!?" Aaron shouted, sounding like he was gonna lose his mind. 

Mark laughed as he made the big, pink dot on Aaron's nose. "And done! Awwwwww," Mark cooed as he scooted back in his chair to see his creation. "You look so cute!" 

Aaron gave Mark an unamused face. 

Mark howled with laughter before adding a smirky comment. "You look like Grumpy Cat with that face." 

Aaron gasped with disgust, "Shut up!" Aaron playfully slapped Mark on the arm with his laughter calming down. Mark examined Aaron before gasping dramatically. 

Aaron gave him a confused face. "What is it Mawk?" Mark shot up without an answer and ran to their bedroom. He came out with light brown kitty ears with fluffy pink insides. 

Aaron shook his head, "No, no, no. You will not-" Mark totally ignored Aaron's protests and set the kitty ears onto Aaron's head. His light brown hair stuck out from the headband. He looked adorable.  

Mark felt his cheeks heat up. "You. Are. Adorable." 

Aaron looked down shyly before murmuring, "I can't believe I agreed to this." 

Mark flashes Aaron a smart ass smile. "You didn't agree to anything." Aaron shoots a glare Mark's way. 

"You forced me to!" 

Mark chuckles and lifts Aaron's chin lovingly. "You're adorable when you're mad." Aaron tries to make an even madder face to seem like he means his anger. 

"The whiskers, the pink nose, and the ears all make it, but the angry face." Mark laughs a hearty laugh and lets go of Aaron's face. Aaron furrows his eyebrows even more but ends up losing it.

Mark looks back in shock and gasps, "So you're not mad at me, huh sugar?" 

Aaron attempts to give a smile before whispering, "On the inside, ya I'm a little embarrassed, but outside?" 

Mark answers Aaron for him with a cherry filled kiss. "You look enchanting." Aaron smiles with a humming sound and pulls Mark in for a sweet kiss. It's not lustful or sexy, it's just an endearing kiss. It's light and fluffy like the clouds and taste like cherry vanilla ice cream. Mark pulls away from the kiss and starts to hum a tune.

"What song are you humming?" Aaron asks curiously. 

Mark stops humming to answer. "Lost Kitten by Metric." Aaron looks down shyly and blushes. Mark coos in a caring matter. 

"Would you like me to sing it for you?" Aaron's head shoots up and nods. Mark smiles a winsome smile before singing.

Don't say yes if you can't say no. Victim of the system, say it isn't so. Squatted on the doorstep, swollen on the blow. Leaving without you can't say no.

Aaron clapped along which made Mark smile as he continued to sing.

Halfway starts with happiness for me. Halfway house, lost kitten in the street. Hit me where it hurts, I'm coming home to lose. Kitten on the catwalk, high-heeled shoes.

No more hard-headed Saturdays. They got it, they want it, they give it away. Tell me one thing you would never do. I was looking for a hooker when I found you.

Mark continued with the song and took Aaron's hand. They started dancing around the kitchen, laughing and giggling as Aaron started to join in on the chorus together.

Mark finished his song and dipped Aaron back into his seat. Aaron looked up with a toothy grin. 

"I love you." 

Mark smiled and whispered back, "I love you more." 

Aaron got up and planted a sweet kiss onto Mark's lips. "I love you most."
