A/N : Hey guys! So I decided to re-write chapter 4, for reasons. I hope you like it!

REECE HARLEY
I groan as the door bell rings. I was currently in the middle of changing my shirt, considering that God awful tree decided to rip my other one.
After pulling the shirt over my head, I manage to scurry down the stairs without Sam hearing me.
If your wondering why I don't want my brother to hear me, then I'll tell you.
I've been grounded many times. As you probably all know by now. And I have a tendency to sneak out sometimes. So, my mother told Sam to keep an eye on me while she goes grocery shopping.
But I guess I don't have to be that quiet considering Sam is cooped up in his room playing COD and yelling at anyone who shoots him.
Welcome to my world.
I sigh before hauling open the door revealing a frantically breathing Jade.
Now, I may have already told you this... But Jade was never the kind of girl to participate in physical activity. Ever!
She's so un-fit it's not even funny. But the weird thing is that she's skinnier than a twig!
"Did you run here or something?" I joke. It was obvious that Jade would never RUN anywhere.
"Ha-ha very funny" She rolls her eyes before pushing past me, walking into my house like she owned the place.
I sigh once again, shutting the door.
"Okay can we just get this conversation over with!" She groaned throwing her hands up in the air.
I threw my head back in laughter as her cheeks flushed even redder than that already were.
"Okay, okay" I say after my laughing fit.
"Okay, so let me get this straight, you think that Mr. Stinson, a 25 year old man, likes Quinn, a 17 year old girl?" She said in utter disbelief.
I merely nod my head. I lick my slightly dry lips before responding.
"Come on Jade all the signs are there!?" I argue, she doesn't know what she just dragged herself into because once I start an argument I always get the last word!
Before she can yell at me I slap my hand over her mouth, shutting her up.
"My brother will hear us if we don't be quiet, let's go to my room" Once she nodded I removed my hand from her salivary mouth.
We both marched up the stairs rather quietly even though I doubt Sam would be able to hear us over the noise of his tv booming from the inside of his room, followed by his muffled groans.
I laugh humourlessly inside my head, how am I related to him?
We're literally not at all alike.
While he's more outgoing/popular like dad was I'm like neither of my parents. My mom was a nerd, always shy and what not. And my dad was the schools so called bad boy. So naturally they fell in love like in one of those sappy teenage love stories. I'm more of a rebel. Always getting grounded, always in trouble. That kind of thing. But I still manage to get pretty decent grades.
Once we enter my room I slowly shut the door, ignoring the creaking sound that the hinges make whenever the door moves.
I run a hand through my tangled hair before sitting on my bed along side Jade.
