needed attention

Y/N's POV:

I sat at my desk in my darkly lit room, the only light source coming from my laptop. The brightly lit laptop beamed on my face as I continued to write my essay. I looked at the clock for a quick time check to see it was 9:53 PM already. My boyfriend was lying in my bed under my fluffy duvet. He looked so comfy and I wanted to join him but I was busy writing this essay. I'm so glad school is almost over so Louis and I can spend the summer together, making memories and just enjoying life together. I wanted so badly to get this essay done, but I also wanted to spend time with Louis. Louis was often a needy person but he's been suspiciously quiet for about 45 minutes straight, not making a single peep. I decided to take out my AirPods and check on him. I sat up from my desk and peeked over to where Louis was laying. he was just watching tik Tok half asleep.

I decided to get back to work since he was still awake. I sat back down at my desk and got back to typing. Im not really the creative type but when I get in the writing mood I can write really good. I'm having a writers block currently. I sat up straight, planting my feet firmly on the hardwood floor I then gently place my finger tips on the keyboard trying to think of anything that comes to mind. I suddenly got a perfect idea and got right to typing. My fingers gliding across the keyboard softly as a million thoughts rush through my head, I'm still able to keep my focus.

Louis' POV:

I was so bored, it was so disgustingly quiet in y/n's room. I wanted attention but I didn't know how to "un-focus" y/n at the moment. I was pretty warm considering I had a hoodie on and I was under y/n's fluffy duvet. I knew how to get her attention, I dramatically sighed multiple times but she couldn't here me through her AirPods. I got up from the warm bed and walked over to y/n's desk and looked at what she was writing, she was writing really fast. I was impressed honestly, I started giving her kisses all over her face until she looked up at me and took out her AirPods.

"can I help you Partridge?" she asked furrowing a brow.

"come on y/n, I wanna cuddle.." I said looking down at her.

"Louis i'm sorry but I only have 300 words left, after i'm done I will. Promise." she smiled

"please, just take a really quick break!!" I pleaded

"Louis.." she looked at me with a serious expression.

"i'm being serious Lou, I need to finish this." she looked back at her laptop.

I sighed and threw myself back onto her bed. Nothing was working. I was very tired and just decided to listen to music but... I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer...I was losing my train of thought as I peacefully fell into a deep sleep.

Y/N's POV:

It's been over 15 minutes since Louis' little moment and I had finally finished my essay. I was so incredibly tired and I just wanted to sleep. I closed my laptop and took out my AirPods and I only heard a slight snoring coming from mr. Louis over there. He was sleeping with his AirPods in so I took them out for him and set them on my bedside table. I climbed into bed with Louis and faced him putting my head into his chest. I felt his arms wrap around me and pull my closer. he slowly kissed my forehead, then my nose, then each of my cheeks, next my lips.

"I love you y/n" he said with a soft voice.

"I love you Louis partridge" I kissed his lips softly smiling, then softly placing my head back into his chest.
