A/N: So I'm going to change/add a bit to the in-game dialogue if you don't mind. Plus I'm probably gonna call her "the girl" for the rest of the story because I can't remember her name. If anyone could tell me, it'd be great. If it doesn't tell you, I'm probably just gonna make up a name for her. OwO Constructive criticism is appreciated!

As the pair entered the town, Leo couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed. Sure, he could understand if the trees and grass were red, as long as it was natural. But did they have to make the town red as well?

"So what are we doing now?" Efina chirped. Leo sighed, "There's an informant here, so we'll sell the info we got at the last town." At this he paused, narrowing his eyes as he realized that there were almost no animals in the town, or anywhere near it, for that matter. "And this place seems to have quite a bit to gleam, itself... So we'll look into that."

"And sell that info again?" Efi asked, turning to look at Leo. He started, being shaken out of his train of thought. He scowled at Efi, "Yeah. Also, you shut your trap."

Efi jumped, evidently startled, "Wha?" Leo sighed again, he hoped that she wasn't going to cry. That would be annoying.

To his surprise, however, she perked up again almost instantly. "Okay!" Leo blinked, feeling a bit unsettled. Were children supposed to behave like this? But then again, he supposed Efina wouldn't really count as an ordinary child.

"Right... First, a place to stay. Let's try and find some people."

--One extremely long search later--

"Are you sure the informant is here?" Efi whined. Leo felt a flash of impatience and snapped, "Yes! And before you ask, yes, I am certain it is this house because it's the last unlocked place in this whole town." Efi shut her mouth. Leo knocked on the door.

Nothing happened.

Then it opened. A very irate girl stuck her head out the door. And glared at them. Hard. "Hm...?"

Leo sighed, of course she wouldn't remember. "Harry. Wore a green jacket before, had black hair."

The girl blinked. Then she spoke, "Ah, took me a bit to realize. Changed your whole appearance again, huh?" She opened the door to let them in, and Leo entered, dragging Efi in along with him.

"But that scar on your cheek never changes, does..." The girl trailed off, looking curiously at Efi, as if she had just now noticed her. "Hmm? Who's the kid?"

Leo hesitated, this would be hard to explain... "I'll... tell you later. Do you know where the residents are?"

The girl smirked, "What? Need a place to stay?" Leo glowered at her, and she finally relented, "Alright, talk to the guy in the large-ish house in the northeast corner of town."

At Leo's quizical look, she explained, "I think the people there are the only real residents. They should lend you a place easy."

Leo nodded. "I see... thanks. I'll be back later."

The girl nodded, "Bye now! You two, kid."

Efi huffed, seemingly rather ticked at being called a kid.

Leo just sighed, "Let's go before she makes this any more of a bother."

He left, dragging Efina along with him, completely ignoring the enraged shouts coming from the house they had just exited from.
