A/N: Lieat sprites are in the media. From left to right they are Leo, Efi, Keith, Rachel, Feathers(not her actual name btw), Cat-guy-who-I-forgot-the-name-of, Neil, and Brett. Dunno why Apples (That's what I'm gonna call the girl from last chapter from now on) isn't there. Dunno why Cat-guy is there, either. He actually isn't very important.

Efi was bored. She was quite tired of being dragged around all the time, thank you very much. "Papa, which way is northeast?" Leo just ignored her, like usual.

"Papa!" Efi tugged on his shirt, causing him to turn and glare at her. "Look over there!" Leo turned, and sure enough, there was a large house. He probably would have ignored her, except for the fact that there was a person standing in front of it.

Leo sighed, "Finally!" he muttered under his breath. "Come on." he said to Efi, pulling her towards the house.

As the two of them approached, the remarkably girly looking boy looked up, obviously surprised, and more than a little wary.

"...Oh?"

Leo wasted no time at all, easily putting up a charming facade and giving him a friendly smile. "Hello. My name is Leo. We need to ask you a favor..."

The man blinked, but quickly relaxed, smiling back. "Oh yes, that's perfectly fine." Leo spoke, "Is there anywhere in town where we could stay?" He nodded towards Efi, "I've got food for us, so a place is all we need."

The man blinked, obviously surprised, "...You're travelers? Well there is a place, yes..." Leo looked back at her- him, was he really the only person in the whole town? "...My sister and I are the only current residents of this town, you see. You can stay anywhere but this house and the library, at no cost, don't worry."

"Right." Leo nodded again, "Thank you. Come on Efi." he turned to leave, but stopped when he called out after him, "A few people are renting out the houses, so, er..." He trailed off, lost in thought.

Leo was getting ready to leave again when the boy spoke, "Ah, I know! The house with the crates outside was just sorted, so it should be usable right away. Just... If you're staying a few days, don't go out late at night."

Leo narrowed his eyes, "What do you mean by that?" For a moment, he could have sworn that he'd seen panic flash across his face. "Er, I mean..." He floundered, looking rather flustered.

"There's a large wolf that goes around at night, attacking people." he finally said.

For a long time, Leo was silent. He knew that the man was lying, but he was also one of the only residents in the entire town, and it would be important to remain on his good side. "Right..." he finally said, earning an indignant look from Efina. "I see. Take care of yourself."

The man nodded, looking relieved, "All right, if you need anything, I'll usually be at home. Oh, wait! Introductions... I'm Keith." the man said, smiling at them cheerfully, "Keith Rigfire. Glad to meet you."

Leo nodded, "Alright. Sorry to bother you, Keith. Thanks again." Keith started to re-enter his house, but paused at the door, turning to look at them, "Well, I'll be seeing you."

Leo nodded, and Keith left.
