"Yep, I lied."

The girl jumped as a strange, dog-like monster appeared in the room. She turned towards Leo and Efina, but Leo didn't look surprised at all.

She blinked, "Oh... and now what?"

Leo smirked, "We get physical."

The pair turned, in sync, towards the lie, Leo pulling out a small, serrated, knife. They attacked, Leo seeming almost bored and Efi not seeming to be trying that hard at all.

When they finished, Efi bent down and scooped it up. The lie didn't even bother to struggle, knowing that it was outmatched. To the girl's surprise and slight disgust, Efi bit down, nibbling on it eagerly.

"I... see. It was faster to show me."

Leo smirked, he could sense her obvious discomfort, and relished it. After giving him a cookie for payment, she deserved it.

She looked at Efi curiously, "Never seen or even heard of a dragon like this before."

Leo blinked, feeling slightly disappointed, he had hoped that, having people come to her with info all the time, the girl would know more about it than he. "...Huh, really. Neither have I..."

"But that's about it for now," he spoke briskly, "We... have other things to do."

The girl nodded, "Gotcha. Y'know," she said thoughtfully, "If you wanted, I could sell her for a lot."

Efi cocked her head, confused, sell her? What did she mean by that?

Leo quicklly came to her rescue, "The runt's not for sale," He said, a little too quickly. "I might sell you info on her though. Maybe."

The girl smirked, shaking her head, "Greedy, greedy!"

Leo narrowed his eyes, "...Why'd you choose this town to do buisness in, anyway?"

He sighed, "It's so hard to reach," he complained, "...And I don't think the value of the info's worth it." The girl giggled, "Aha, well... If that vampire legend is true... That'd be worth my time, yes?"

Leo snorted, "Vampires, pffft... You shouldn't go chasing fairy tales..."

The girl sniffed, "I'd sooner consider dragons fairy tales, myself." She looked up, suddenly serious, "I'm told the vampire's bloodline ended a long time ago... But I'm sure I'm right."

Leo snorted, "Says who?" The girl glared at him, "Says my gut."

"..."

The girl spoke again, "Well, if anything comes up, I'll help with what I know." She smirked, "At a price, of course."

Leo nodded, "...Right. See ya."

They left.
