You sighed and began to readjust your standing position for the umpteenth time. The several bags of luggage were weighing down your stature and you began to become more and more annoyed the longer you had to wait for a taxi. It seemed like all of them were purposely passing you, even if they didn't have anyone riding in the cab. Not my problem, you thought. They're the ones not getting my money.
It was almost an entire 10 minutes later when a taxi finally pulled to the curb. At this point, you were incredibly aggravated and it was clearly obvious. You were stuffing your bags into the trunk and cramming everything together with unnecessary force. Phil raised his eyebrows as he watched you, patiently waiting so he could put the rest in. After you had gotten your annoyance out, you sighed and made your way inside, sitting and buckling yourself in. Phil followed after you quickly, not wanting to aggravate you more. After he clicked his seatbelt into place, he cleared his throat.
"To uh..." He trailed off, looking at you. You raised your eyebrows.
"Your new address?" He asked. It took you a minute before your eyes widened.
"Oh, yeah... 5 Adelaide Road, London, NW3 3QE." You replied, quietly laughing at your spaciness. Phil grinned before relaxing into his seat. You gave a sigh before shaking your head and doing the same.
"So have you just never been in a taxi before or...?" Phil asked with a laugh.
"No, I have I just... I don't know... God, I can't believe I did that." You mumbled, dropping your face into your hands. Phil smiled before shaking his head.
"You see... Here in London when you get into a taxi, you give them the address and-"
"I know how taxis work Phil! I was just... Distracted." You replied. He smirked.
"Yeah okay, 'distracted'" He said, putting quotation marks around the word distracted.
"Oh, whatever!" You replied with a laugh and nudged his shoulder. He laughed with you.

The cab's speed began to slowly deplete as your new building came into view. You looked out of the window with a small smile, eager to begin your new life in London. You had dreamed of living here since you were only the small age of nine, and your dream was finally coming true. A new house, a new job, new everything. Some things hurt to leave behind but you knew this was for the betterment of your happiness.
The car stopped completely and you found yourself almost too mesmerized by the wonderful building to even unbuckle your seatbelt. You quickly came to your senses though, not wanting to embarrass yourself for the second time. You pushed open the car door and before you could pull out your wallet to pay the driver, Phil held up his arm to stop you.
"What are you doing?" He asked. You gave a confused look.
"What else? Paying the cabbie." You replied. Phil laughed.
"Are you forgetting?" He asked. You raised your eyebrows in confusion. Phil sighed and shook his head before opening his wallet and grabbing a red paper and handing it to the driver.
"Keep the change." He said before turning to you and holding up another red paper.
"Pounds (Y/n). We pay differently in the UK." He said, making his way to the open trunk. Your eyes widened and you facepalmed yet again.
"Oh my God... I completely forgot about that. Jeez, so much for a second impression." You said with a laugh. Phil laughed too as he pulled a few of your bags out and balanced them in his arms. You grabbed the remaining carryons before nodding to the driver, giving him a signal that you had grabbed everything. He nodded and began to pull off. You situated yourself slightly so you could reach your hand into your purse and pull out your keys.
You stuck them into the knob before turning it and pushing the door open with your foot. You sighed before lightly setting your bags on the floor, Phil doing the same. You cleared your throat and straightened your posture, inhaling the long-forgotten smell of a new house. You smiled, turning to Phil and checking the time.
"Alright, the movers should be here any minute now. I timed everything so I wouldn't have to wait too long. Oh gosh, I can't wait to see (D/n) again. It has been too long." You said. Phil clapped his hands together in excitement.
"Right, (D/n)! I've always wanted to meet her. She's just the cutest in your videos." Phil replied. You laughed before nodding.
"Oh yeah, I wonder what she's gonna think, finally being able to match your voice to a body." You said.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Oh, well she hears you quite a bit because of your videos, but she's never been around you. She'll probably trip when she sees you actually exist and aren't just a voice." You replied, trying to explain the best you could.
"Oh right, that makes sense." He replied. You nodded before sighing. Now, we wait.

You cracked your neck before sighed, scrolling down on your laptop. You were looking through wallpapers and flooring plans for your clinic. You wanted a friendly but professional air for the place so you were leaning to wood floors. But which wood? you thought to yourself. God, there's so much. Ash looks good, but so does Cherry. And let's not forget about-
Your thoughts were cut short by a ring. You glanced over to Phil to see him pulling his phone out of his pocket. You gave a questioning look as he answered. He mouth the word Dan and you nodded.
"Hey Dan, what's up?" He asked. You could hear the quiet buzz of the phone as Dan replied.
"Oh, it went well, we got to the house a bit ago I'm gonna help unpack. I'll be home at around... 7-ish...?" He said, leaning his head over with a questioning look. You nodded, confirming the time.
"Yeah, 7-ish. How's the date going?" Phil asked. The minute you heard this, your entire stomached dropped through the floor. Date...? Dan is on a date? you thought to yourself.
Sure, you weren't expecting anything to happen between the two of you, hell, you weren't even counting on meeting him, but finding out that he was on a date still hurt more than you would've liked to admit. You chewed on your lip as Phil laughed.
"Jeez, that does sound horrible. Well hey, I'm sure you'll take quite the liking to (Y/n)." He said teasingly. You covered your mouth in an attempt to hide the noise you made, unsure of whether it was a laugh or a cry.
"Yeah, right next to me actually." He said. Your eyes widened as you tightened your hands around your mouth. He glanced at you and pursed his lips, obviously trying to hold back a laugh. You pulled your hands away before mouthing 'you ass'. There was a loud knock on the door and you quickly cleared your throat, moving your computer off your lap and standing up.
"Yeah yeah. Listen, I think the movers are here, I'll call you when I'm on my way home alright?" He said. There was another buzz as you opened the door, glancing at the man knocking.
"Alright, bye." You heard Phil mumble.
"Hi, are you (Y/n) (L/n)?" The man asked.
"Yes, that's me." You replied, opening the door more.
"We're here with your stuff." He said. You smiled and nodded.
"Thank you. Phil, it's the movers." You said over your shoulder. Phil nodded and stood, walking to the door. You sighed and walked out, waiting for the man to open the truck doors so you could truly start your new life in London.
