Kuro is standing out on the balcony of the mansion watching the ocean at night, patiently waiting for his crew to arrive tomorrow morning.
On the slope with Luffy, Zoro, Y/n, Nami and Usopp. Y/n is fast asleep snuggled in Luffy's arms where it is warm while the others discuss their plan to attack the Black Cats.
"We should stop them on the slope with syrup before they reach the village." Usopp says.
"Well I'm strong with my sword style." Zoro states
""I'm a rubber man hehe." Luffy states
"Well I'm good at stealing and navigating." Nami states
"I'm good at shooting with a sling shot." Usopp says
Back at Kaya's mansion, Kuro returns and learns from Merry that Kaya is sleeping well.
Merry tells him, "I do not believe Usopp's claim that you are a pirate." "Hahaha"
Kuro has an evil delight to the fact that no one knows his past.
"These are a gift for you from Kaya." Merry says as he hands Kuro the gift.
Kuro looks out the window and sees a crescent moon. "Crescent Moons make me feel alive." He tells Merry.
Merry is looking at him confused. Suddenly Kuro crushes Kaya's gift with his foot leaving Merry shocked.
Merry comes to the conclusion that for the first time in Usopp's life he didn't lie, everything he said was true.
Kuro then shoots Merry leaving him there thinking he is dead while he heads to Kaya's room planning to kill her, but then decides to kill her in the morning.
Hidden in the huge rocks of the beach of Gecko Island, one of the crew mates tells Jango "It's almost day break."
Jango then leaves his quarters "Only the sun can wake me up." He tells the crew no in a bad mood. "Start the attack."
Meanwhile on the slope Usopp and the straw hat pirates pour oil on the slope, making sure that the black cats will not make it to the village. While they pour the oil little y/n is still asleep but in Zoro's arm this time.
It's almost day break and the group is now just waiting patiently for the pirates to come.
The Black cat pirates arrive at gecko island spotting the two boats that the straw hats used to get there. Nami having perfect hearing heard this.
"Ah Hey guys we're on the wrong slope" Nami tells them.
As they are running to the north slope they realise their mistake all to late, seeing that they won't reach it in time. Only Nami and Usopp are on their way, while Luffy having no sense of direction goes the wrong way and gets lost.
Y/n wakes up "Huh where are we going?"
"To the north slope to stop the pirates." Usopp replies.
"Oh ok I wanna help too." Y/n says heading off passing all three running.
Zoro tries to pass Nami on the oiled floor who 'accidentally' put him there. Usopp and Y/n are the first to arrive at the north slope and y/n watches as a Usopp defeats some of them using his snipping abilities.
Meanwhile Zoro struggles with the oily ground which he keeps falling down. "Damn it." And Luffy is still lost. "Where am I?"
"Turn back now I have 100,000,000 men who will force you to leave the island." Usopp says with shaky legs.
Y/n looks at him wondering who would be stupid enough to believe that, but to her surprise Jango believes the lie for a moment.
Some of the Black cat pirates find the hidden treasure on one of the boats.
"You can keep that treasure if you leave the island." Usopp says.
Jango replies with, "Despite your effort, we are still going to attack the village."
The little girl turns and sees Nami arriving just in time to save Usopp from being hypnotised.
"Hey Nami they have your treasure, and Usopp said they can have it if they leave" Y/n told her.
"Oh yeah well that's my treasure so bug off, you can't have it." Nami is very angry at them and Usopp.
Nami is determined to stop the pirates from taking her treasure and argues with Usopp about being an idiot trying to give them her treasure.
Y/n looks at them and decides to go down. "Stop I won't let you pass."
"Haha what's a little girl like you gonna do Huh" The crew laugh at her.
Back in the slope Zoro finally got away from the oil and starts heading north. Luffy however is still lost.
The crew starts wailing in pain the little girl looking seeing as the two have stopped bickering and protected her.
"What are you thinking, your just a kid." Usopp yells at her.
"I can take care of myself, I'm stronger than you." Y/n snaps back angry at him.
However they realise that the cannot get away now cause they are blocked bu caltrops. One of the pirates knock Usopp down with a large hammer. Despite being hurt Usopp still tries to fight and Nami joins in.
Jango orders, "Continue to the village Kuro will be angry if we are late."
Suddenly the Black Cat pirates are pushed back by Joni their than Luffy and Zoro. They are a little upset "They aren't as strong as I thought they would be." Zoro says to Luffy.
Zoro glares at Nami, "You pushed me on that oily slope on purpose."
Luffy looks at Usopp angry "You didn't tell me which way was north."
"You just ran off." Usopp says back.
Back at syrup village Kuro is getting irritated as his crew have not attacked yet and intends to kill them if the ever disappoint him. He leaves the mansion headin down to where his crew is supposed to be coming, unknown to him that he is being watched.
Y/n just watches as the fight begins knowing they won't let her help.
