Chapter 8

I was running through a dark forst I was being chased by something big and purple he keep chasing me I couldn't keep running but I couldn't stop running. "Chole Chloe wake up" F.R.I.D.A.Y called I immediately sat up and took a deep breath I threw my legs over the side of my bed and headed to my closet, after I picked out my outfit I was done getting ready I headed downstairs "good morning you don't look so happy today" Natasha said while I sat down next to her. "I had a bad dream but I was nothing really" I said Steve put my breakfast in front of me after I eat breakfast I asked Nat "hey do you know where my dad is" "yeah he's just in his lab" she said I noises and headed to his lab.

Once I got inside he was working on something "hey dad what are you working on now?" I asked "it's just a little thing for your suit" he said "really what is it" I said while standing next to him "something broke so I'm just fixing it for you" he said while doing something with it "thanks" I said "what's up?" He asked "I was wondering if I could have a sleepover with my friend MJ" I said "I guess but you have to make sure it's fine with her parents" he said "she already asked her mom said it was fine" I said "you can go just be careful" he said "thanks dad" I said and left his lab to let him work in peace.

Chole: hey MJ my dad said I could stay the night

MJ: that's great I'll text you my address

Chole: thanks that'll be helpful

MJ sent her me her address I packed my things and headed to met Happy "hey kid you ready" he said "yep there's the address" I said handing him the address he put it in once we were in the car he drove off, once we got there he dropped me off a few blocks away I started walking to MJ's place. I knocked on the door her mom opened it "I'm so glad you came MJ has been really excited but she won't actually say it" she said I smiled "Chole I'm so glad your here" MJ said while running out from her room "hey MJ" I said we went into her bedroom and watched TV and talked about girl stuff "so I was wondering if you liked Peter" MJ said while grabbing the chip bag "I don't like him" I said "your worng I see you guys blush when you look at each other and friends don't do that pulse I see the way you two look at each other it's cute" she said I blushed at the thought of Peter "is it really that noticable" I said "yep well at least to me it is" she said we continue to talk until MJ's mom called us for dinner.

We all sat down at the dinner table and eat until MJ's mom finally broke the silence "so how as school been for you two?" She asked "good" me and MJ said at the same time, after dinner MJ and I headed back to her room a few hours later a MJ's mom knocked on her door "hey it's time for bed you two" she said "okay mom" MJ said I headed to MJ's bathroom and changed into my black PJ's I got into my sleeping bag and MJ got into her bed "good night Chole" she said "night MJ" I said and closed my eyes.

I was running through the same dark woods that I had been running in for the past five days the some big purple thing kept chasing me he kept running and running I felt so tired but it's like I had no control over my body I couldn't stop or scream all I did was run over and over again it felt like the woods would never end it just kept going on for miles "Chole Chole" the thing called after me.

I immediately sat up and looked around to find that I was in MJ's room "are you okay you were having a bed dream" she said concerned about me "I'm fine thanks" I said while giving her a reassuring smile she nodded her head "do you need anything?" She asked "no I'm fine what time is it" I said "it's like 4:40 in the morning do you want to watch the sunrise to take your mind off your dream?" She asked I nodded my head we headed out to her fire escape after an hour the sun finally come out and made everything like a golden color "it's beautiful" I said "have you ever seen the sunrise before?" MJ asked "nope" I
said.

After breakfast I pulled out my phone and texted Happy

Chole: hey Happy good morning I was wondering if you could pick me up at 12:00

Happy: umm your dad wants you home by 8:40am

Chole: fine I guess it'll work

I shut off my phone and headed to MJ "so my dad wants me home by 8:40 am" I said MJ looked disappointed that I couldn't stay longer but she understood "it's fine we still and an hour and fifteen minutes left" she said, I got a text from Happy

Happy: hey kid were are you

Chole: sorry heading down now

"I have to go but it was nice hanging out with you MJ" I said while grabbing my backpack that had all my things in it "same maybe we could do it again some time" she said, she walked me to the door once I left I went down to met Happy.
