Chapter 10

I got out of bed and headed downstairs "hey you ready for school" dad said when I sat down on the bar stools "yep" I said "Happy isn't feeling to well so I'm going to be taking you to school today if that's alright" he said "alright that's wonderful I never really got to send time with you" I said, once we were in the car dad turned on the radio "dad where's Pepper I haven't seen her since we moved" I asked him "she up North with some family" he said. Once I got out of the car dad drove off I walked to school which was narmal for me.

I was in math's Ned was at me the whole time, before lunch I pulled MJ aside "do you tell anyone about me liking Peter" I said "no why" I said I told her about everything I heard and from the looks I was getting all day today. We both headed to lunch "hey Chole" Peter said "hey Peter we haven't talked in a while" I said "yeah I've been busy"he said I nodded my head in agreement with him I had a lot to do as well. When I got home I changed out of my school clothes and put on something comfortable before starting my homework.

"Hey kiddo I was wondering if you had a few minutes" dad sais "what's up" I said he sat down on my bed "well I'm going out of town for a few days so you'll have to stay here" he said "why can't I come with" I said "because it's top secret" he said "fine I'll be fine here" I said "okay good Pepper is going to watch you because the Avengers are coming with me to" he said "wait I'm an avenger though" I said "you are but your not old enough" he said, once he left my room I came up with a plan I was going with them but first things first I had to get rid of Pepper.

Two days later

Today was the day that Dad and the rest of the avengers left for their 'top secret' thing, once they left I got in the car with Pepper and she drove me to school since Happy had drove dad and everyone else. "Bye Pepper" I said while waving at her "bye Chole be safe" she said, I was at lunch when the perfect plan came to mind "hey Chole I was wondering if you wanted to came over and hangout" MJ said "I would love to but I have something to do after school sorry" I told her "it's fine" she said. My last class was PE "I have to go to the restroom" I told our PE teacher "fine but make it quick" he said I nodded my head and headed to the restrooms, once I was in a stall I locked the door and pulled out my phone and started to text Pepper

Chole: hey Pepper I was wondering if I could hang out with my friend MJ after school

Pepper: sure that's fine but be home by 8:00 you have school tomorrow

Chole: thanks a lot

I put my phone away and headed back to class, after class I left the group and headed back to the compound Pepper was sleeping on the couch so I had to try and be as silent as possible once I made it to my room I put my bag on my bed and headed to my closet and grabbed my suit that dad had built for me, I had put a tracker on Steve before they left I hoped that he didn't notice and take it off "hey lily I put a tracker on Steve can you please track me for me" I asked lily she's my F.R.I.D.A.Y "I tracked Steve he's at an airport that's only 20 miles away" lily said "thanks" I said and headed to the airport that he was at.
