CHAPTER SIX

Chapter Six

Arianna's head was pounding and her throat was dry like it has been days since she last drank water. She forced her eyes open and immediately closed them due to the bright light. It was morning or afternoon, one she knew she missed the Variety show.

Her door was pushed open and by the cologne that suddenly waffed into her room and noise it was Archie. She opened one eye and her head to the left. Archie placed a tray with food next to her bedside and the farmilia bottle of the pills she had to take.

"So?" Archie asked his arms folded a serious look adorning his face, he looked mad and dissapointed.

Arianna reached for the juice first to ease her dry throat. She avoided Archie's gaze and she took small sips of the sugary liquid. She looked to see he still stood there waiting for an explanation perhaps.

"I'm pretty sure you know now" She argued gesturing to the pills that he had brought and he laughed shaking his head.

"I do but I want to hear it from you, not from mom but from you" He pulled a chair from her task and placed it next to her bed "Please just tell me the truth" He pleaded his voice softening.

"I was involved in an accident last year" She started looking down at her hands "I was invited to this dumb party with my friends by a couple of kids who came from New York and as a dumb teenager I went there even though I knew that crowd was not mine but I still wanted to be there you know. Someone spiked my drink and the night just flew away, one second I was chugging down alcohol and the next I found myself in one of the rooms in the house" Tears started prickiling from her eyes as she retold the story that changed her life "Then next minutes I w-woke up naked with th-this guy next to m-me" She choked on her words her mind taking her back to that awful night "I was still feeling the effects of whatever drug he gave me and it was hazy and my head kept spinning but in my mind I knew I had to tell someone and I guess I did cause I woke up at the hospital with a bandaged head and mom telling I had gotten out of surgery" Archie placed his hand on top of mine as she started crying "The p-person who picked me up from the party was d-dead from the car accident that we had. I was told she died a few hours before I regained my conciousness" Sadness fell upon Archie as he listened to what he had heard from his sister, how can she endure so many things, hurtful things that happens all in one night.

"All I could think about was it was my fault that we had an accident, I don't know how it happened but it was my fault" Now Arianna was angry at herself, am very sobs coming from her "If I didn't go to that party then Nicole wouldn't have cone to pick me up then none of this would have happened" She sniffed wiping her tears with the back of her hand and then looked at Archie "I guess these headaches are just the aftermath of that accident" she said with a dark chuckle.

"I'm really sorry Arianna, I'm really sorry you had to go through that all in a night" Arianna laughed thinking about how this story was only the beginning.

Archie pulled his sister into a hug a long hug that Arianna needed cause she broke down again when warmth from Archie enveloped her, she cried her eye out not even caring anymore.

"Now I feel bad for forcing you to tell me" He muttered stroking her hair that was now dyed back to ginger "I'm so sorry I had forced you to relieve that night and that whole moment"

"Don't be" Arianna whispered back "I think I need this. I don't know I felt embarrassed sharing this story with mom and my therapist, I felt like they were judging me so that's why I never wanted to tell you or dad about it"

"Well you don't have to feel like that anymore" He pulled away looking at Arianna "I'm your brother and I'll never judge you for whatever you do. And I'll never be embarrassed about you but you gotta promise that you'll tell me when your headaches get worse okay, we can't keep this for long we gotta tell dad and take you to the hospital for a check up" Arianna nodded with a smile and he stomach growled causing Archi to burst out laughing as he placed the tray on top of Arianna.
