Italics- Thoughts
The Seidou team was surprised by what they heard that some people could not even believe that what Sawamura said was true. Someone was so shocked that they yelled "HUH."
"Um, coach, are they alright?" asked Sawamura with concern laced in his voice.
The coach then turned to Sawamura with a deadpan expression on his face. "I'm sure they are alright."
"Oh okay." Haruichi snapped out of his state of shock. "Wow Eijun, I'm glad you learned so much at the training camp."
Sawamura flinched at the mention of the camp. "Yeah, thanks Haru. I'm also glad I got the chance to improve my skills."
Haruichi noticed that he flinched so he then thought, Something is definitely wrong with him. I mean, he flinched when I mentioned the training camp so my suspicions were right.
"Hey, Kaz." Haruichi tried to get Miyuki's attention but Miyuki was still in shock and was thinking about something. "KAZUYA" That yell from Haruichi seemed to snap Miyuki out of his shock.
"What did you say Haru?" Miyuki asked, still in a daze from the information he just learned.
Haruichi sighed but still told Miyuki what he was going to tell him. "I was going to say that I think our suspicions about what happened to him at the camp are right."
Miyuki's happy expression changed to a serious one as he led Haruichi away from the others who were still in shock. "I thought I said to not jump to conclusions"
Haruichi gave Miyuki a look. "I know but did you see the way he flinched when I mentioned the training camp? Come on, you saw it with your own eyes Kaz. You know something happened at that training camp but you just refuse to accept that fact. Kaz, I know this has taken a large toll on you but you need to accept that Eijun has changed for the worse so that you can help him."
Miyuki tried to form words to tell Haruichi but couldn't speak as he knew Haruichi was right. Dammit! His mind screamed at him. Haru's right. I know that the suspicions are right but I don't want them to be true because that makes me at fault for Eijun changing. It was as if Haruichi could read minds because what Haruichi said next surprised Miyuki.
Haruichi sighed and gave Miyuki a tired but sad look as he said, "Kaz, this isn't your fault you know. I know you think this is but it is not your fault. So don't take the blame for this, we all pushed for him to take this opportunity."
Miyuki was at a loss for words but managed to give him a look that told Haruichi all he needed to say.
Haruichi gave Miyuki a small smile and said, " Well, we better hope everyone is out of their shock."
Miyuki then said, "Oh yeah, I forgot about them to be honest." Miyuki laughed nervously. "But seriously Haru, thank you for saying that I needed that."
Haruichi laughed a little. "That's what friends are for Kazu, but we should head back over to them now."
Miyuki and Haruichi walked back over to the group after Haruichi talked some sense back into Miyuki. They found that the group was still mostly in shock so they looked at the coach with an expression that told the coach to do something.
The coach saw that look they gave him so he then yelled so loudly it shook everyone out of their shock. "Everyone. This is no time to stay in shock as we still haven't seen him play yet. So get your mouths off the ground so that we can have practice."
Everyone then got out of their shock so that they could stretch for morning practice to begin. Furuya then walked over to Miyuki and Haruichi as Sawamura went to stretch with the rest of the first string.
