I don't own all of the characters, all credit goes to J.K. Rolling, with the exception of Alek and her plot line. At the top is a picture of Alek.

I was running, my feet pounded on the cobblestone street area of Diagon Alley. I was trying to get all of my supplies together for my fourth year of Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry.

My Aunt Prior was waiting for me at the Leaky Cauldron, where we were staying with my mum. I had just recently moved back to Hogwarts after we left after my first year there. I was never told why until recently. When I was there, I was in the Gryffindor house, but my mum and my Aunt Prior moved me to Beauxbatons for my second and third year.

It was only this summer when they decided to tell me the truth to why I moved schools and why I am now moving back to Hogwarts. My Aunt Prior Sat me down and told me that my farther that I loved do dearly and could never do anything wrong in my eyes, was a Death Eater, and so was my uncle, but neither was my mom nor herself got involved with The Dark Lord and became Death Eaters.

She said that when my uncle died when I was two, therefore my dad became less loyal to the Dark Lord. That he would do anything to keep us safe and out of the Dark Lord's reach. When I started Hogwarts for my first year I had to be the most fortunate to become friends with Harry Potter, but Voldemort recognized me and wanted my dad to let me be used as a pawn against Harry.

My dad refused, not wanting me, his only little girl to die like my uncle so he fought against Voldemort to keep us safe. My dad had mine, my mum's and my Aunt Prior's last name changed and had us leave. The night after we left, The Dark Lord killed my father for betraying him. And now this year I am going back to Hogwarts as Alek Sterling, because something big is going to happen and my Aunt Prior only trust me at one place with one person to watch over me, that would be Albus Dumbledore.

My Aunt Prior told me that I could get my school supplies today since I would be at Hogwarts in two days, but I had to be back at exactly 7:30. That is my reason for running all around Diagon Alley.

I had only one more place left to go and that would be for my school books, and right now it was around 6:30. The only problem was that, the Leaky Cauldron was all the way down on the street from here.

I kept my pace up as I bumped and severed around people. My feet were starting to ache from all the running, but I wasn't going to give up now when I was just a turn away. I finally came to an abrupt stop when I came to the shop window. I was taking very deep breaths of air from that long hard run.

I walked in once I had my breath. To my left was a stand of The Prophet talking about the Quidditch World Cup and how the Minstery of Magic was saying how Dumbledore was being a fool for thinking that Voldemort was back.

I turned towards the back and headed towards the Charms section. I looked at the display section until I found the book for the class Standard Book of Spells. It was another fourth-five minutes till I had all my books and quills.

I headed towards the shop counter to pay for the books. I wasn't looking at were I was going, because I was flipping through my book, until I ran into a big wall. Not knowing what to do, I tried to turn around and walk away like nothing happen. I looked up as I was halfway turned around only to realised that the wall I ran into was not a wall at all.

The person I ran into was about my height, but maybe a few inches taller. He had platinum blonde hair and had light blue and silver eyes. He would have been cute if he hadn't had that ugly scowl on his face as he looked at me. He had a green and black robe on with a snake on the suffering pocket. Therefore I knew he was a Slytherin.

He looked like he was about to say something, so I just sent one of my infamous angry glares at him. He wasn't effected by it only more irritated.

"Watch were you walk you idiot blood traitor," he said in a cold voice. But being my sarcastic, rude, arrogant self didn't want to be the fool.

"Or what? You going to do something scary to me? Huh?" I said in a very sarcastic tone. " What, you just going to stand there and glare at me and do nothing?" I stared to walk away after that.

Then I heard, "Get back here you stupid girl! Do you even know who you are talking too? Who the bloody hell are you?" He did not sound to happy with me at the moment.

" I am Alek Sterling, and I couldn't care any less who you are, you big jerk!" I said turning around heading towards the counter. Once I paid for all of my things, I got out of the store as fast as I could.

It was about 7:15,and I didn't have much time left. I started running again trying to get back in time. I tried to not think about the jerk that I just met, while weaving in and out of crowds of people.

I finally reached the Leaky Cauldron with a few minutes to spare. I headed up to our room and sat my stuff down next to my window and by my trunks. I wasn't that happy about moving back to Hogwarts. I heard rumors about Harry Potter and his friends, and the trouble that they have gotten into. I doubt that they would remember me. When I was there; I was friends with Harry, Neville, Hermione, and Luna although me and Ron would talk to each other on occasion.

This will not be a good year, I can tell by just meeting that Slytherin brat. I lay down on my four post bed and think of all of all the things that could go wrong if I would be founded out.
