Henrik wasn't sure if it was three or four days. That have gone by since he had returned to his family. Honestly, it was as if he lost the concept of time itself. He only knew when he got up and when he was sent to bed. Right now, Henrik was alone. In the study, something he hasn't been in the past few days. Normally the only time he was alone was when he was in the bathroom or going to sleep at night.

Of, course Henrik loved his siblings but still, he swore he had more privacy and time to himself back in their village. And normally, he was the one who had to fight for his siblings' attention and that was a hard thing to do. His older brothers Elijah and Klaus were either training or fighting over girls. Henrik had to hide his mother's grimoires from Kol.

As for Rebekah, she was either flirting with boys or spending time with Klaus and Elijah. Finn was the most difficult. The boy couldn't count on his hands how many times, he had to beg his mother to force Finn to spend time with him which was awkward to say at least. He remembered being most successful with Finn last minute on a night. Henrik lied to his eldest brother many times about being plagued by nightmares. And refused to sleep unless he was close to his brother.

The boy was playing with some dice which were far from entertaining.

"Still arguing I see." Keelin said at the door.

"Another change. I don't like."

"They have argued in the past." Keelin replied.

"Not over me, they wouldn't."

"What are they arguing about?" Keelin asked.

"Me. The bedroom. What needs to be there and what doesn't." Henrik answered.

"Yeah. Redecoration is just another way for your siblings to go on the warpath with each other."

"Kol keeps talking about some box with an 'X' on it." Keelin let out a chuckle. The eldest Mikaelson had trouble with some of the most trivial parts of the modern world. At one point too.

"I'm sure their argument will be finished soon." Keelin tried to assure the boy.

"When will pa and ma come home?" The boy asked the wolf. Keelin wasn't sure how long they could lie to him. He asked this very same question every day.

"I'm not sure kid. Maybe a couple of weeks." Keelin lied.

"She could at least send a note with one of her ravens. Or do that weird spell that makes so. Someone could be two places at once." Henrik complained.

"I'm pretty sure they call it Astral Projection." Keelin said.

"Witches always like to make things sound cooler. Then what they actually are." Henrik said.

"Sometimes it feels like witches have their own language," Keelin replied.

"Keelin."

"Yes."

"You know your friend Freya..." Henrik started.

"She's nice isn't she?"

"Yeah. But are my brothers and sister trying to replace my sister with your Freya?" Henrik questioned.

"Of, course, not Henrik."

"Are you sure? I do like Freya it's just I know, I never met my big sister. But I don't want to dishonour her memory. I don't want to hurt her feelings by replacing her with someone who happens to share her name." Henrik said.

"No, one wants to take your big sister's place. I think your big sister knows and appreciates that."

Meanwhile, in the dining room, the older Mikaelson siblings are standing around the table.

"He's too young for an X-box." Rebekah protested.

"Hardly. He's older than the company that designed it." Kol responded while he rolled his eyes in Rebekah's direction.

"You know what I mean Kol. The world has evolved. You and I have first-hand experience of what's that's like."

"Everything should be gradual besides. He can't even read or write in English." Freya commented.

"Henrik was never the smartest pea in the pod. I give him five minutes before he gives up." Kol said.

"We can discuss trivial things at a later date. We will focus on the priorities all the room needs is a new coat of paint. A carpet, a toy box perhaps."

"There is six of us and Keelin. I am sure together, we can help him catch up in no time." Klaus told his siblings.

"Now if you excuse me, I have some things to pick up for Henrik." Kol said to excuse himself, he then walked out of the room.

"Don't even think about getting him Grand Theft Auto, brother." Rebekah shouted as she followed after him.

"It's harmless." Kol responded.

"It's violent." Rebekah protested.

"Every boy around his age plays videos games." Kol reminded his little sister.

"Kol if you insist on buying our brother a video game at least have it be suitable for his age. His mental age." Rebekah said with a sigh.

Author's Note: I am so sorry it has taken so long to update this fanfic. I had a terrible case of writer's block. All I knew was that I wanted a scene between Keelin and Henrik.
