Stefan-

It had been almost a week now, since mine and Caroline's last meet up. Damon was out of town, and I was home alone, few hours into the day when I was  eating, I heard a sound. I ran down, to see my best friend, Lexi standing in the living room, with her arms wide open waiting for me to hug her. I ran towards her and gave out a big hug, I hadn't see her since 77 years. Right when  was about to say something, Elena walked in.

"Stefan, what are you doing ,who is she, ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME?"

"what? no Elena this is Lexi ,my bestfriend."

"Katherine?" Lexi screamed.

I pulled Lexi aside,

"shuuuuush that is not Kathrine, that is Elena, her doppelganger."

"wait what?"

"jus-, I will tell you bout it later"

"uh ok?"

"what r u guys whispering bout" Elena said

"uh nothing, Elena this is Lexi my bestfriend, I haven't seen her since 77 yea-, I mean I'm just kidding I haven't seen her since 3 years, feels like 77 years" I chuckled.

"Do you seriously expect me to believe that?"

"wha-?yes?"

"After all that I have done for you, you cheat on me wow."

"I AM NOT CHEATING ON YOU"

"sUrE."

I got so angry.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I AM DONE, IF U WANT TO THINK THAT I AM CHEATING ON YOU GO AHEAD.BUT I AM DONE I AM DONE WITH THIS RELATIONSHIP, I AM BREAKING UP WITH YOU."

"WHAT?"

"YES"

"WHY?"

"BECAUSE YOU HAVE CHANGED, YOU ARE OVERPROTECTIVE, AND HAVE CONTINOUS TRUST ISSUES, WHICH I CAN'T DEAL WITH, NOT ANYMORE. SO WE ARE NOW DONE."

"FINE." she leaves.

"wow that was kinda harsh." Lexi said from behind.

"yeah well I am happy that I did it."

"OK you wanna tell me why she looks like Katherine?"

"I couldn't believe at first too, but when I saw her she was not Katherine she was someone else."

"and you thought it would be a great idea to date her?"

"well I started liking her, but something changed along the path."

"Wow ok.?"

"she changed a lot, obviously all of the reasons I mentioned and also her best frien- uh" 

"her bestfriend what?"

"I can't explain it. but we have more things we need to worry about, Katherine's back"

"wdym she's back"

"she's alive and roaming around in the town, she killed Elena's bestfriend, more like turned her."

"omg."

"yes and now that you are here we need to deal with her."

Caroline entered.

"Hey Stefan, oh you are here with someone."

"yeah this is Lexi my bestfriend, Lexi this is Caroline, Elena's bestfriend who was turned."

"oh hi Lexi."

"hey"

"Ok both of you can continue this greet later, we need to do something about Katherine before Damon returns"

"yeah about that, that is why I came here, I saw Katherine. she left you a message." Caroline said.

"what message are you ok?"

"I am ok, um she told 'Let her live or all my friends will die one by one.' I cannot let her do that"

"Neither can I"

"I might have an idea." Lexi suggested.

"but someone needs to turn to a vampire for it."

"WHAT?"
