pulling back

Caroline's POV-

I was confused about the fact that Elena and Stefan broke up, it made me regret pulling back from the perfect kiss. I was even more hurt about the fact that Elena never told me about it. I was confused and I felt weird so I told Stefan bye and I rushed out. I gathered my stuff and ran outside the Salvatore house and hit up Bonnie.

Caroline- hey bon how's Elena?

Bon- Elena is fine, why would she be what happened?

C- by the sound of ur tone I assume u don't know what happened?

B- nooo ok I'm worried now wtf happened???

C- uh, nothing Elena I- uh nothing I thought Elena got  into an accident but false alarm false news haha sorry.

B- omg care u got me worried for no  reason. Anyway I got to go grams needs help for dinner, bye seeya tomorrow in school. Love you.

C- bye bye love you too.

I couldn't tell her I was scared that if I ratted Elena out she might despise me. So I just left it there and continued with the day .

The next day- school-

Elena- hey guys.

C- hey Elena how are you all good?

E- I'm perfect why what happened.

C- nothing, how's things with u and stef.

E- perfect, I just got off the call with him. Since when do u call him stef.

C- did I? Haha I didn't realize.

B- ok I'm gonna break the awkward silence and ask something random. Hey care where were u yesterday. We were supposed to meet.

C- omg yes I completely forgot I had this thing with my mom so-

B- oh no prob. Today grill?

C- sure.

Stefan enters.

Elena gives him a kiss.

Stefan gets confused and looks at Caroline.

Caroline felt weird she just looked away.

Caroline- 

I thought Elena and Stefan broke up but why is she presenting like they didn't...what if Stefan lied just so the kids won't be awkward? I mean I know Elena since I was a kid. I kinda trusted her more than Stefan I mean I had to. Me and Stefan were never close. I just got close to him a few days ago. It was killing me I decided to confront  Elena and find out.

C- hey elena can I ask you something.

E- yeah Whats up 

C- did u and Stefan break up.

E- no we didn't why would u think that

C- he told it to me and I thought idk.

E- ok fine we broke up. I wasn't ready to accept it.

C- but that's wrong why would u pretend and then u also kissed him wtf elena.

E- it's ok we have kissed before I just did it uk so y'all think we r still dating.

C- that's weird Elena did u ever think about Stefan he broke up with u.

E- ok chill Caroline why do u have to make a big deal about it and since when do u care about Stefan.

C- I- I don't know ur acting very weird think about others for once. Bye.

I stormed out. I was so mad at Elena. Stefan didn't deserve it she had to think about other people except herself.

I ran to my car and drove to Stefan. Once I approached I rang his bell continuously. He opened the door and I didn't think twice I kissed him. Very passionately. I needed it. He deserved it. I shouldn't have pulled back from our last kiss. I didn't think about Elena.I kissed him because I wanted to.
