How it all began Part 1

After the apple incident, Nightmare left his home world, far away enough until he found an empty AU with just a lonely, old castle.

It looked abandoned, like maybe someone left or maybe no one was left in this building.

The windows have been shattered, the roofs of the towers have holes in them, the big wooden doors, the entrance of the castle, looked like they were about to tumble over if maybe even a little leaf touched it.

With his tendrils (or tentacles or whatever you call them), Nightmare carefully grabbed the doors and tried to pry them out of the door way to prevent them possibly falling on him trying to get in.

He slowly placed them on the muddy ground and walked in the castle.

It was a mess.

The rugs, the stairs, the fire place, kitchen, ball room, bedrooms; all of it was in ruin.

It's like seeing what's left of a Genocide Run, nothing but dust and ash.

It's like maybe a storm ran through the area and damaged the castle in the process.

Despite on how bad it was, Nightmare managed to make it his home.

He could fix the castle, but he didn't have the skill to even try.

Treehouses is all he knows how to build, a castle? Yeah, he wouldn't even get close to getting the place fixed.

So all he could do for now is to clean and replace what was broken.

-----------------------------------

The game has started. The human is doing another Genocide Run, and Sans is a few steps ahead of them.

The human killed the monsters in the Ruins, Sans killed the rest without them knowing.

Toriel, the gaurd dogs, Grillby...

Sans checked his stats...

LV: 6

I still need more...

He was coated in dust.

He hasn't finished with Snowdin yet, there were still some monsters left.

Of course, it was kind of difficult when they keep running away.

He's doing them a favor, he needs to stop the human... even if it means getting his hands dirty.

He then noticed... everyone in Snowdin was already killed off... except one.

No... He couldn't... but he was already far enough... he didn't have a choice. It was him or the human.

"SANS!"

The hooded skeleton turn around just to see his younger brother, Papyrus.

"There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" He exclaimed.

Sans couldn't help but smile at him, but not in a brotherly manner. Papyrus didn't notice.

"I-Is something wrong?" He stuttered, his voice sounding very quiet and shaky.

"Yes, something IS wrong! Everyone has vanished, disappeared! I have ran through the whole area to find someone but all I could find is I think piles of snow?" Papyrus explained, oblivious to the amount of dust that is on his small, older brother.

"O-oh! Well that is odd..."

"Odd indeed, brother! Do you think maybe they rushed out, MAYBE TO GO SEE METTATON!"

"Heh..." Sans gave a shaky chuckle.

"Papyrus..." Sans quietly called for his brother, lifting his arm, summoning sharp bones.
