The title suits the story well. The cover is on point and is exactly how it should be. The blurb is so good. Loved it so interesting. The vocabulary is amazing. A very well written book. Enjoyed it trulylike how dimensional it looks. The plot – You have me hook, line and sinker with your blurb. You detailed everything without giving anything away.took a moment for everything to come into focus through my keen eyes. The story is very well executed. Great job. Have nothing but great words for your grammar and vocabulary. I get the feeling that the author isn't releasing the characters full potential, but they development at a steady pace that keeps you interested in the book. I am a fan, will be finishing the book after the winners announced. The grammar compliments the plot.______
Second place :
In the crossfire by YelenaLugin
Total score: 78/80Review:
I am in complete awe! What a cover. everything about it says "Potential Great Read." The story grabbed me from GO on the Monopoly board. Out of all the entries thus far, this story hooked me before chapter 2. And I'm hard to impress so bravo, author!
Grammar and vocabulary? I got two words for it: Picture. Perfect.
The characters – I can tell a lot of long hours, emotion, thought and the love bred passion of your killer ink went into writing such a power, detailed account of characters I fell in love with. One of my favorites. The author mastered the genre in this awesome, awesome read, In The Cross Fire is exceptional writing by a gifted artist that happens to be an author.______
First place :
Cursed bond by byyrsa
Total score : 80/80Review:
The best cover out of all the participants. I literally dissected everything about it. Its eye candy to the curious irises. If I was in a book store and saw this I'd quickly snatch it up and read the blurb.
Boom. And there you have it, folks. You have the other outstanding blurbs from the participants, and then you have the head of the master class.
Plot – Wow. And that's coming from me. I seldom say "Wow" to a book. The only other books to do that are Fiona Cake's "Colours of the devil" and Bored_mama's Magnum Opus "Dandelion." And now this author weaves literary devices, metaphors, similes and emotion cleverly.Grammer? Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!
Liv and Naris, Alarick, Hilda. I mention those characters because they had my heart by chapter three. I know people in my life that remind me of these characters. Feels like I know them. If a certain participant should give a class on Originality and Flow this author is the Valedictorian to the Salutatorian. I am a huge fan of your work and will be added to my "Favorite Books" Reading List. I seldom give out perfect scores, but heavens to mega Troy "Cursed Bond" deserves so much more. This is why I love being a judge. I find the undiscovered gems. I was on a rollercoaster of emotion. If I had a Book of the Month Club this would be an inductee.
(okay this judge absolutely loved this book hence this super long review lol kudos to you for amazing work byyrsa)
