Did I make this banner in April?

Maybe!

Do I regret it?

Nope!

Title from the lyrics of Two Voices One Song from Barbie and the Diamond Castle. (Don't judge me)

A loud blood-curdling scream ripped through the quiet afternoon. It wasn't surprising. The clubhouse was rarely this silent. Usually it was filled with laughs, bickers, and yells.

Ash followed the sound, heart pounding as she imagined the dangers her friends could've gotten in. Her thoughts were full of cuts, burns and bruises. One of them even pictured Cho stuck in the fridge but she quickly dismissed that thought. It couldn't have happened again, right?

She skidded to a stop in the doorway, almost tripping into the drama as she dramatically entered. "What is it? What's wrong?"

Items were strewn everywhere! There were socks, cutlery, beanies, and even food! In the centre of all the chaos was Lucky. The dark-haired girl sniffed, her eyes and nose red and she lay looking hopeless in the middle of the mess.

Ash picked through everything and tried hard not to step on anyone's things. If she ended up breaking something she could start The Cozy War IV. Though it mostly resulted in everyone throwing pillows across the room she didn't want to take any risks. Lucky was allergic to feathers and no one wanted to hear her snuffling at night.

"Is everything okay?" Lucky squinted as the light was blocked by Ash's head looming over her. The girl's brown locks hung like a curtain as Ash peered down at her friend.

"It's over!" Lucky wailed, throwing an arm over her face.

"What is?" Ash said in confusion.

Before Lucky could answer a loud voice interrupted their conversation.

"Is she dead?" They both looked over at Mango who was staring over the counter with wide eyes.

"No, I'm not dead." Lucky made a face before flopping back down with a thud.

"Well, you don't look alive." Dee teased from beside Mango.

Lucky raised a fist from the floor. "No teasing me! Something terrible has happened and I'm distraught!"

Ash grumbled under her breath as she forced Lucky to sit upright. The dark-haired girl sighed as repositioned and crossed her legs.

"It's almost Cho's birthday," Lucky said despairingly.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Ash asked quizzically, exchanging looks with the other girls there.

"I don't blame Lucky for being upset. Her birthday was chaos." Mango shrugged.
