Chapter 6- The Maid Cafe'

Nene's POV
When it was finally time to go home. I collected my things from my locker and followed Aoi to the maid cafe. It was honestly a pretty okay first day to be honest, only that Hanako guy was a nuisance but I'm not going to lie he was pretty cute, wait no, bad Nene! I followed Aoi across the road near an alleyway to were my work begins. When we got there Aoi showed me to my boss's office. "Stay here Nene-chan, I'll just address you to her, oh and be careful when speaking to her, she gets... Well, I'll just go. In she went and after a certain amount of time that had past, she came out. I noticed that Aoi had scratches on her arm. Now I was scared, I was going to work for someone who abusers their workers, but I got dragged in. "You must be my new employee... Nene Yashiro, is that correct?" My boss said staring with beautiful, green eyes. "Yes ma'am" I responded. She continued to stare at me, I didn't notice it at first but I was shaking. "My name is Yako and I am your boss, if you fail to do your job well then I shall fire you!" She exclaimed, breaking the tension. That didn't work cause more arose. "Y-yes Yako I-I mean m-ma'am" I stuttered, I could feel a little sweat trickle down my neck. "Hmph" she scoffed and then turned her attention on Aoi. "Find this girl her uniform and get to work!" I admit I was taken back. I felt for sure she would kick me out. Aoi bowed and left the room, dragging me along with her. Before the door closed I heard: "Whatever would you do right now Missaki?" Missaki, who's that? Neither Aoi nor Yako-san mentioned any other male here. But who is he? Questions flooded my mind as we entered the dressing room.

Nene's POV
Its kinda cute, but why the cat ears? I thoughts to myself. "Yako-chan said that it's cat season, we usually do fox but cats are popular now!" Oh.... wait how... "I'm psychic!" Aoi says to answer my question I didn't even ask yet. "Wh-what?!" Was all I could say. I noticed Aoi giggling. "Just kidding, I just have pretty good intuition." She says. "Oh okay," still that's kinda strange and creepy, I thought. But no time to think like that. I've got a job to do. Seeing my confidence made Aoi beam more. "You got this Nene-chan and don't worry I'll help you on the way!" I smile as well and start to heat up the milk. "Don't forget the donuts... Nene-chan" Aoi calls from her  position, serving a customer. "Okay" I say and start to make the donuts.
A few more moments later

Crap, I spilt the milk and I'm scared that the donuts might be ruined. "Hey do you need help?" I here a voice. I look up and see a pair of e/c eyes staring at me. "Guahhh" I squeezed and fell over. "Oh sorry to startle you, Aoi said that you might need help, my names Y/N, nice to meet you Nene-chan." I don't even know this person but they are a god/ess. "Yeah thanks." I say getting up. Y/n was a huge help, the donuts were perfect and they even helped clean up the milk. I thought everything was going okay but then I heard a familiar voice, "Just 7 donuts and a latte please, we're inside ." It said, the lady at the counter asked "okay and is that your table?" I didn't see where she pointed but I started panicking. "Yeah" Amane said, "Okay, and to make it special we'll have our new employee serve you." NOoOPE. "Sure," Amane said and it sounded as if he was bored but in pain as well. "Nene-chan did you here that? Your going to be serving the 7 mysteries!" Aoi calls excitedly, I however was beyond excited, I am terrified. I gulp and take the tray of food. "Remember, when you arrive, put the plate and drink down and say "is there anything I can get you Nya~" okay" Y/n says, holding me steady. They got a feeling how nervous I was. "Just calm down Nene, breath." They said and pushed me right into the lions pit. God help meeee.

I try to walk steadily but I would occasionally bump a table. I finally reached the table of death ( yes I names it that) and put the food down. Surprisingly no one looked up at me. I scanned the table and immediately noticed Tsukasa, Amane and Akane who Aoi was telling me about. I took a deep breathe and replayed what Y/n had told me to say.

"Is there anything else you would like master... Nya~" I said and felt proud that I recited it perfectly (to me) I almost forgot the Nyaa though hehe. Tsukasa looked up at me and covered his mouth with his hand. As did a girl in a brown uniform a their table and I think Mitsuba the pink haired boy. They were all staring a me and the person I was standing above. I could hear him sipping his latte (weird yes but moving on) "actually yes- and" he spat out the coffee all over me. "Dammm Amane" Tsukasa said and burst out laughing.
