2 years later ....

She mused  to herself  and sipped her coffee , glancing at her wrist watch , she knew her 10 minutes break was almost done she sighed , she was feeling exhausted especially from her night shift and she couldn't wait to go home ....

" I'm going to take ward 6 , is that okay with you riddhima ? " She was bought out of her trance when she saw her colleague , Rahul stare at her she passed him a small smile  .

" Ofcourse yrr ... But don't you need to go home now ? She said she knew that Rahul was her senior during the night shift yet he took care most of the things since she was still a trainee in medical speciality although it's been a year since she began her training under doctor sumit yet she always manages to piss him off for no reason and he spares no chance to insult her on her small mistakes  knowing very well that trainee will make mistakes and instead of telling them to correct them ...

I don't know what is the problem of that old man , why he hates me so much I just wish I could change my trainer she thought and sighed .

It has been twelves hours since she last slept and too for only three hours , she wasn't complaining about her job , she loved being a doctor after all the reason she became a doctor was so that she could help out human being ...

" Excuse me ... Miss . "

She was pulled out of her thoughts by a deep voice coming from a person who was standing beside her table , she had to crane her neck up and her eyes landed up on the tall , lean yet mascular frame of a man clad in expensive black three piece suit shoulders broad and arms looked strong as his hands resting on his pockets but that was not what took her breath out of her ...

She stared up at his face and it was one of the most handsome faces which she had ever seen but what mesmerized her the most was his eyes ... Appeared cold  and calculating as he looked at her , her eyes got immediately locked with his eyes and a slow blush crept on her cheeks as she realised how handsome the man was ...

His entire being confidence , power and supremacy , she felt a cold shiver run down her spine and her guard instantly on , her instincts and gut told her that this man was dangerous even though she didn't even know him her heart began to beat fast ..

" Yes ... " She responded meekly that earned a amused look from him .

" Are you doctor riddhima ? He inquired his voice strong intimidating I nodded slightly adjusting my coat .

" Yes ... I'm doctor riddhima , do you have any scheduled meeting or would like a consult ? " She said her voice firm , not letting it give out that she's nervousness that she was actually feeling in the presence of this handsome stranger though she was surprised what a man like him doing in a place like this ... It is a public hospital she inferred from his attire that he's coming from a rich family a public hospital wasn't a place for a rich ...

Maybe he's here on buisness with the management or what !

His lips twitched slightly but his gaze was on her unaltered " I'm actually here on a consult Dr . Sumit directed me to you since he was busy and I need a quick check up . " He claimed and bought his knuckles , it was injured badly ...

" Alright please follow me . " She said and led him into radiology for an x - ray scan .

" Please take a seat . " She instructed bluntly and pointed towards a stool by a table as she adjusted the x - ray machine that was aligned on top of the table , he was seated and his hand lay on the table casually she went to adjust his hand on the machine but a jolt of lightening burst through her when she touched him involuntary flinched her hand back sighing slowly , with her heart pacing adjusted herself to finish her job , All this while , she felt his gaze constantly scrutinizing her , she felt unnerved and her heart went on a drive ....  she couldn't read his expressions it was blank and impassive .

What's his deal ? Can't he lower his gaze already ! She was slowly Beginning to feel irritated .

After getting the scan , she headed towards her boss cabin and prayed that he would be there ... Because she didn't feel right being alone with that stranger , but to her utter disappointed , the office was empty with only stranger standing at the window and gazing outside clearing her throat she cought his attention and gestured towards the desk  " please take a seat mister . " I said .

" Vihaan ... Vihaan Rai Singhania , he said even his name sounds powerful but I don't know why ? I feel , I know him from many year ....
As I have some connection from him but then I don't remember anyone like him pushing my thoughts aside I said ...

" Mr . Rai Singhania , please take a seat and tried to calm her pacing heart ,  No man had ever effect had an effect on me like this man was having ...

" Just Vihaan is fine . " He stated stoically , she flinched at the tone that he was using , it held so much authority ...

How was the chapter guys ! I know it might be confusing as there is a leap of 2 years ... But your all doubts will be clear soon maybe in flashbacks or in Vihaan PoV ...
So , tuned to know what happens next !
