* Chapter - 5

She shook her head and passed him a small tight smile . " If you will please have a seat , I would like to examine your hand . "

He sat down and looked at her as she examined his hands on scan " hmmm ... All bones are intact . " She mused and move towards aqired gloves coming back to the man , she slowly took his injured hand and examined his knuckles ignoring the tingles sensation that she was feeling with the contact even through her gloves ...

" The cuts aren't deep and the injury also don't looked infected . " She informed and carefully let go of his hand his intense gaze was still on her while she avoided his gaze ....

" How did you get it like this ? " she inquired and grabbed pad to pen down ...

" I was training when it happened . " He told frankly she furrowed her brows lightly .

No wonder he looks so bulky , he must have really work out . But wait , was he training just now ? By the looks of it it seems that he is all ready to go out for work whatever he is buisness or something else ! But the injury looks fresh , was he in a fight ? No wonder he seems really dangerous to me ...

" Okay , so chances of  infection are low I will disinfect it and bandage it for you then I will write down a prescription for an ointment that you need to be apply ... " I said professionally .

" Why don't you have your own office Riddhima . " He asked startling her however she was taken aback by him for sudden informality .... Furrowing her eyebrows she slightly cleared her throat .

" I'm trainee and thus I can't have any office of my own until I finalize my exams . " She explained .

" And when it will happen ? He asked , she was feeling slightly irritated at his sudden interest in her but nonetheless she answered " maybe next year or the year after that , if I'm lucky enough !

She went on and grabbed a cart of bandages and proceeded to treat his wounds , she noticed that his hands were rough indicating a hard life you tell a lot about person's hand she had judged from his attire that he's having a easy life but his hands said otherwise .... Never judge a book by it's cover ...

She wasn't not so close to him and was standing as she worked on his hand she could easily smell his rich spicy cologne as well ... Her hands were starting to shake from his constant staring , she was so close at snapping ...

Doesn't this guy have any sense of proprietary ?

" You know it's very rude to stare someone . " She finally vented and felt the pressure of her shoulders release however , he chuckled and suddenly his used the hand that she was dressing and grabbed her fingers in a gentle yet from firm grip while the other the  hand snaked around her waist and she fell down on his lap earning another amused chuckle from him she was taken aback and looked at him only to be locked with his attractive eyes  his cold yet observent eyes while her eyes were in daze and felt tingles all over body ..

He pulled her close and she was so froze in her place that she didn't even realise how close they are ...

" They are were absolutely right you know , " he said huskily in her ear .

" I had heard that Dr. Riddhima is the most beautiful girl in this city , And now I see you up close , such rumours don't do you any justice ; you are breathtakingly gorgeous , he rasped her heart skipped a bit at his words  she wasn't not suprised at his words though , she knew that she is a prodigal beauty with her hazel eyes , fair skin ...

She gasped as she realised the position that she was in and she immediately jump to her feet , her cheeks heating and blushing brightly
She had seen many types of patients but never had she witnessed the patient like him before he was the first one who was so obnoxious as to flirt and be forwarded with her No , he was beyond forward ....

She was fuming and all that he was Doing was staring at her with same intensity as before yet his eyes had grown a little soft and amusement can be clearly seen in that , And that irritated her a lot .

She was so close to snapping at him but when she saw bandage was still undone so , she decided she better finish quickly with him ...

" You looked pissed off at something . " He said as she continued dressing his bandage she tried her best to ignore him but heart skip a bit when she saw him moving towards her closely ...

" Did I piss you off just now , Riddhima ? He whispered close to her ear she jumped back away from him , while he looked amused and seemed to be revealing in her nervousness , she liked the way her name rolled off his tounge so smoothly .

" Are you always this forward with every doctor or it is just me ? " She snapped .

He gave her a small smile and stood up his hands pushed into his pocket as he took a step toward her and she took a step away from him .

" Just you ... " He mummered , his eyes staring intensely at her her poor heart began to beat fast , she saw something flash in his eyes and his features hardened it scared her and cold shiver ran down her spines as he took another step toward her direction his very form radiating intimidation .

" And are you always like this with your patiences . " He said through clenched teeth earning a confused earn from her .

" What do you mean ? " She whispered and he pulled up his bandage hand and waved it her .

" Do you touch all the patients like that ? " He inquired at sharp edge voice , she was all flabbergasted at his question ... This man was beyond confusing !

Is that even a question ! What's wrong with this guy ? .... He's not making any senses .

" Excuse me  Mr. Rai Singhania but , "

" I told you to call me Vihaan , is that too difficult to say ? " He said crossly and raised a thick eyebrow at her , challenging her to say otherwise.... his eyes were so intense on her  that she felt like he was seeing her soul ...
