The Christened

Today is 24th Dec, Snigdha’s birthday. I don’t understand why I get more excited on my friend’s birthdays than my own. Well I have quite some plans in head which, if executed properly without any mistakes, will not fail to make her happy today.

It was time for school so I had to leave real quick. I had to pause my birthday decor plans for a few hours, but since I had done it beforehand, I wasn’t worried about completing it.

I love school, not because I enjoy studying or such but because its always fun there. I love spending time with friends, eating at canteen and gossiping. Our school is a huge building consisting of a properly furnished canteen, developed classrooms and modernized means of education provided to all. There are a lot of co-curriculum activities that takes place on a regular basis. Had I not mentioned, our school’s called “The Christened High School” in Rome, Europe.

Snigdha, Shalini and I had been the best of friends since childhood. After Class 8, we had planned to move out after our scholarship to Rome in “The Christened”. We studied together in the same school in Delhi and now we study in the same high school as well. Our BFF goals have been stronger.

After we three shifted here, we gotta know that its not only the three of us who are Indians, infact a lot of other Indian kids study here, so it never felt strange or awkward. I got adjusted real quick with all the circumstances, all the native people as well as non-romans are so good at heart. Its crazy how homely I felt at the very first day. This school is very famous in entire Europe and so we stand at a great standard. Its here only where Snigdha and Shalini found their 'love of life' and I personally like those guys as well. Rishi and Abhinav are the toppers of our class as, whereas we stand at the middle.

The football championship is coming up in school and the girls are given the task to decorate the school, so we are ought to stay busy while boys are practicing. I generally love when something is coming up as the entire school carries an enthusiastic vibe through out. Siddharth is the team captain of one side whereas a guy named Matthews is the other.

Well I’ll talk about the guys and girls of school later, as I’m completely focused on Snigdha’s birthday now. Let’s see how it goes, hope it does according to the way I want it to.
