Overcoming The Fear : War

LONG CHAPTER AHEAD

"War, war you gotta see this quick!", Win is shouting, making both Bboom and War who are rearranging their medicine stocks look up and follow Win out of their tent.

War sees the familiar blue light, from the volcano island miles from where he's standing.

"That's P'Yin right? Is it the training or something's happening?", Bboom being his usual worrywart says from beside him.

Now, War is wondering whether Yin is fine, did something happen? Should they follow them to the island just to make sure? Wait, the medical team will tag along later to pick the hero course students, just in case someone needs immediate medical assistance. War runs back into the tent to find Folk.

"P'Folk khab", the older one turns to War "I've changed my mind, can I tag along to the island later?"

War initially didn't want to ride the boat because the water still scares him but after what he saw he wants to make sure by himself that everything's fine. Folk who has suggested War to come in the first place agrees right away and asks War to prepare the tools and medicine that he needs to bring to the island and he works right away.

The four of them, Folk, War, Win and Bboom then go to the island, while the other 3 medical students wait in the tent. The ship they're riding on is cutting through the sea at high speed. War feels grateful because the sooner he reaches his destination the better. Not only is he worried that something might happen to Yin, but really, being surrounded by sea water makes him uneasy. Bboom and Win have been glancing to War throughout their journey because they know War's history with water isn't a pleasant story. Thankfully it only takes 10 min to get them to arrive on the island.

"War, please do the overall scan for me once you come down yeah?", Folk is picking up some of their tools while waiting for their ship to dock. War nods to that.

War recently got his gadget, a hologram goggles that enhances his quirk. So now he can scan more than one person at the same time. The hero course students are already gathered in the beach. War can't see Yin when he's arrived but first he needs to scan first.

His device light up and scans, one, two three, and in no time the whole beach has been scanned. There are bruises, lots of them got it. Some scratches, there is one with sprained ankle, one with intense headache and there is one who might need stitches. Then, there he is, slight burns on their palms. War follows his line of vision and finds Yin, sitting down beside Prom who turns out to be the one who needs stitches.

War wants to run to him immediately but before that he needs to report to his senior about his finding. Folk understands that his junior wants to run to Yin so he calls Bboom and gives them the tools that's needed and send them to where Yin and Prom sit.

"Go treat your boyfriends' injuries, Phi and Win will do the rest", War turns bright red he can't even deny Folk's claim.

Bboom and Win only snickers seeing how flustered their friend has become.

"Thank you P'Folk, we'll do our best, c'mon War", Bboom ended up having to drag War away still stuttering leaving behind a giggling Win and a smiling P'Folk.

"Oww, slowly baby", Prom complains, the term of endearment just normally slips from his lips and he earns a kitten slap from Bboom because of it.

"P'Prom, not here," Bboom whispers shout at Prom "don't be such a child, you shouldn't feel any pain after I gave you an anesthesia shot earlier, now stay still", Bboom gets back to his task, stitching Prom's wounds, ignoring two pairs of eyes watching them.
