"dr. Wanarat, here's the journals and reports that you asked this morning", one of the nurse informs War in his office delivering a stack of documents that War needs to study for special case patient under his treatment.

"Thank you Nine, you can go back", War says smiling. "Also, didn't I told you to call me War when there's no patient, we're the same age!"

Nine, the nurse that got assigned to work with War once he fully taken his role as a general practitioner doctor in Ratsmeerat hospital laughs. She loves to tease War apparently.

"Oh I almost forgot", Nine reaches into her pocket after she recovered from laughing "Lover boy was here when you made your round this morning and said to give this to you"

Nine gives War a cup of coffee with a little note on it, raising her eyebrows teasingly.

"Stop teasing me and get back to work", War says not forgetting to say thank you before Nine gets out of his office.

'Words are not enough to espresso how much I love you. See you later for our dinner date my sun'

War smiles at the cheesy pick up line, very much like Yin. Even after 8 years of being together, he doesn't really change that much. Still Yin that clumsy boy who War loves with all of his heart.

War takes a grateful sip of his coffee and gets back to his documents. He needs to read it for his patient. In an ancient time thousands years before the super human society, human used to have secondary gender beside man and woman. Society that has Alpha, Beta and Omega categorization based on their body anatomy. As human evolved with time, the secondary gender slowly disappear as there were no effort to preserve the dominant genders Alpha and Omega so the ordinary Beta remains. In today's society, Alpha and Omega traits are no longer exist, only the derivative.

People can be carrier of Alpha and Omega gen, a-carrier and o-carrier. Both male and female can be a carrier. Because those are only derivatives from the original gen, the carriers don't experience rut nor heat. Here's the tricky part, despite not experiencing heat, male who's an o-carrier can still develop female body part and conceive if they had an intercourse with an a-carrier. Weather it's a male or female, doesn't matter as long as they're an a-carrier.

War's patient is a male o-carrier and he's currently trying to have a child with his partner, a male a-carrier. He's actually under the hospital's Obstetricians watch but War's quirk is needed to make sure that the patient doesn't have life threatening complication along the way. So, War needs to understand the development process before helping the patient.

After studying and understanding the journals and reports War's mind wonders if he's also a carrier. He never thought about it because he doesn't feel the need to know that. But he's in a relationship with a man now. War had thought about rising children with Yin before but the options that he consider are only surrogate and adoption. What if?

"hey doc", the Obstetricians, dr. Nam knocks on the door, pulling War back from his day dream. "Can we discuss about the o-carrier patient now, I have time until lunch"

"Oh, hey doc, yeah of course, I've read the documents too", War says as he stands up to greet the veteran doctor "please take a seat"

dr. Nam is a veteran Obstetricians who had many complicated cases before but this is her first time dealing with a male o-carrier who wants to bear a child. Nam's quirk can also be counted as practical given her occupation. She has a fertility quirk or in simple explanation, she can increases someone's chance to get pregnant by up to 150% by touching her patient's belly.
