Seoul ‖ Kim Namjoon

Hand-in-hand, Chayoung and Namjoon walked back to the practice room, both of their cheeks tinted with a light pink.

As they stepped inside, knowing smiles appeared on the faces of both Minhyuck as well as the other members at their entwined hands.

"Well?" Yoongi asked. "Did you do it?"

Glancing at the Im girl, Namjoon raised their joint hands. "Gentlemen, meet my girlfriend,"

A series of 'Congratulations' followed as Chayoung frowned.

"Hold on!" She held her palms, jazz-hands style. "You guys knew about this?"

"I told you there was more to us coming to Seoul," Minhyuck shrugged. "He wanted to ask you out,"

"Yeah, well, he did more than that," Chayoung muttered under her breath, although, there was a happy expression on her face.

"Um, Chayoung noona," Jungkook piped up from behind the Jung boy. "Please take good care of hyung, especially when he breaks something," A bunny-like smile appeared on his lips. "He's really clumsy,"

"You know what, I'm not even going to deny that," Namjoon sighed, helplessly as the group laughed.

"I have a question," Jimin spoke. "Are we going to keep this quiet as of now, or are we going to inform the company?"

The newly formed couple looked at each other.

"I don't exactly know," Chayoung began, slowly. "Namjoon?"

"I should be asking you that," The Kim boy returned. "Do you want to keep it quiet for now? I'm okay with whatever you want," He added gently.

Chayoung was quiet for a minute, thinking of the various possibilities. She was a self-proclaimed overthinker and it did not help that she was now dating an idol, one of the most famous ones to that.

"I-I think we should tell the company," Chayoung started. "In case anything happens, but, can we not tell ARMY yet?"

Jin nodded, approvingly. "I like that idea," He commented. "The company will be fine with it, I'm sure, but I think we need to wait for ARMY's reaction,"

"I'm sure a high percentage of their reaction will be positive," Taehyung's eyes were wide. "If they truly want hyung to be happy, then they'll be pleased that he's found someone,"

"Then, let's go tell the company," Namjoon chuckled lightly at Chayoung's terrified expression.

"N-Now?"

"Is the great Im Chayoung scared?"

"No!" Chayoung crossed her arms. "I'm not scared,"

"Then, let's go,"

Chayoung wrung her hands anxiously as she and Namjoon sat inside the CEO's office.

It was rather impressive, the interior designing much to the Im girl's taste. Bright lights illuminated the room and everything was neatly organized.

"I apologise for being late," Chayoung quickly stood and bowed towards the short man as well as the taller one who had entered the room. "I was sorting out a few documents,"

The stouter man offered a bright smile towards his artist and Chayoung.

"I'm Im Chayoung," She introduced, extending a hand which the man shook. 

"Bang Si Hyuck," He grinned. "Please, take a seat,"

The taller man offered a small smile, reminding Chayoung of somewhat a teddy bear. "I'm Sejin, their manager,"

"It's good to meet you,"

"So," Bang PD clapped his hands. "What brings you here?"

"Actually, we have some news," Namjoon gripped Chayoung's hands. "We're... we're dating,"

A silence descended upon the room as the two men took in the full extent of the Kim boy's words. 

"Congratulations!" Bang PD suddenly cried. "You know, I honestly thought that you were going to bring Miss Im here as a trainee reccommendation,"

"Oh, no thank you," Chayoung waved a dismissive hand at the idea. "I'm far to busy for those sorts of things, besides, I have a job,"

"You do?" Manager Sejin asked, curiously. "What do you do?"

"I'm a nursery teacher back in Ilsan," The Im girl answered.

"Ah, so you must be good with kids then," Bang PD smiled. "What a lovely career,"

"Um, so does that mean you approve?" Namjoon brought the conversation back towards the issue at hand.

"We approve," The CEO looked at the taller man who nodded. "Now, would you like to introduce this relationship to the fans, or- "

"Not yet, please," Chayoung quickly said. "Is it - is it okay if we do it at a later time?"

Bang PD nodded. "Whenever you're ready," He assured. "We would never make you reveal it when you're not comfortable,"

As Chayoung and Namjoon exited the office, the boy pulled the girl into his arms, resting his chin on her crown.

"You're feeling very touchy today,"

"I'm happy,"

"So am I,"
