Monday morning

I arrive at the bakery, early as normal. The limp is still prevalent, but not as noticeable. It's painful, but certainty bearable. I unlock the shop, and get started on pastries like I do every morning. I love the smell of the fresh bread and sweets this early. It's warm, and comforting. Like visiting a relatives house during the holidays. I worked on the icings and frostings as they baked, humming to myself as things started to come together more. "Morning tadashi!" Suga's cheery voice said from the doorway.

"Good morning!" I called in return. "How's daichi and the baby?" Daichi and him had adopted a baby girl with blonde hair a few months ago. Daichi watches her in the mornings and then drops her off at daycare. Sometimes though, he brings the one year old in.

"Daichi's doing great. And yachi is a little bundle of energy, but she makes us so much happier. I found her doodling on the walls though, so we had to spend the day cleaning that." He groaned, and ran his hand through his hair, before chuckling. "She's silly like that."

"Oh I'm sorry. Was it crayon?"

"Yep. I'm just glad it wasn't colored pencil or marker. We'd have to paint over that." I nod. He washed his hands and started working on some doughs and icings. "Anyways, how was your evening with your boyfriend?" He asked, and I could practically hear the smirk lacing his voice.

"S-Suga!" I yell in embarrassment, my face going red.

"Don't think I don't see those hickies on your neck. How was it?" I sigh.

"It... It was great." I said shyly. Suga laughed.

"Way to go tadashi." He said, before we fell into a semi comfortable silence.

Yep. Just an average morning here.
