Mary-San also known as Mary's Phone Call is a Japanese urban legend, about a young girl who received disturbing calls from the doll she abandoned.

There was once a young Japanese girl who had an old western doll that she cherished very much. The doll's name was, of course, Mary.

The girl's father had ended up getting a new job, and the family had to move to a new town. But during the move, the girl had accidentally left her doll behind.

One night, the girl's parents went out and she was home alone at her new house. Out of nowhere the phone started to ring. When she answered it, she was greeted to a high-pitched voice on the other end of the line.

"Hello it's Mary-San. I'm at the garbage dump now"
The girl got scared and hung up, but it immediately started to ring again.

"Hello it's Mary. I'm in front of your house now."The girl now trembling with fear, decided to open her front door, but to her surprise there was no one there.

"Maybe it was just a prank call." She thought

She let out a sigh of relief and closed the front door. However, just as she was about to go right back up to her room, her phone rang again.

"Hello, it's Mary. I'm right behind you."

So the girl slowly turned around.

Later, when her parents got home, they found their daughter lying in a pool of her own blood. She had been stabbed to death.

Rules to avoid being killed by Mary-San
1. Lock all your doors and windows
2. Don't answer the phone
3. Keep your back to the wall
4. If she's behind you run out the front door, but whatever you do, do not turn around
