August
"There's my two favorite boys!" I shout as my eyes fall on Justin and Zach before the sprinklers switch on
"Shit! Shit!" Zach exclaims as he backs into Justin
"Watch it!" Justin says as he shoves Zach causing him to slip on the wet grass and Zach pulls Justin down to the ground and they start wrestling
"Meet the boys." Kat says as she walks out onto the porch with Clay and the new girl
"Justin Foley is mine, and Zach Dempsey for you." Kat says to the new girl
"Zach Dempsey? Really?" Clay asks
"What? Zach's sweet." Kat says
"Indeed he is." I say with a smile before taking a sip of my beer
"Oh, and this is Justin's twin sister, Evelyn. Or Evie, or Eve, or Ev. And Zach calls her Evie Grace." Kat introduces me
"Evie, this is Hannah Baker." Kat introduces the new girl
"Hi." I say with a warm smile and Kat claps for the boys and Zach and Justin stand up off the ground
"Yes. Liberty High's star athletes, ladies and gentlemen. So impressive. Sorry, boys. Can't have you in Hannah's house soaking wet." Kat says
