chapter 20

I half opened my eyes at the little beam of light shining through an opening in the tent. I searched for my phone.

I looked at the time.

7:30.

I m early!

I got out from the tent for some fresh air as the first gush of soft wind hit my face.

I am liking this weather so much!

Bong soon was snoring away contentedly. She looked so cute even while sleeping. I chuckled.

The riverside was empty at this time of the morning.

I went near it.

The riverside had a parapet a bit far away to sit and enjoy the scene from a bit afar.

I sat down on the parapet folding my legs. The wind was stronger here. It felt funny how my hair went one side one instance and suddenly was on the other side the next instance.

I sat there gazing afar at the glittering yellow river and the sun above it looking like a big egg-yolk.

"Enjoying beauty?"

I jumped at the sudden interruption. Someone's hand was grabbing my shoulder. I instantly turned towards the direction of the person.

I heaved a sigh of relief.

"Ahhh kamchagiya! Taehyung! What are you doing here? You're up early as well?!"

"Hm....." He sat beside me folding his legs like me.

"Well why are you up so early?" Taehyung enquired.

"I don't know I just suddenly woke up. I'm usually a late riser." I grinned.

"How do you like this place then?"

"I like it so much. It's absolutely mesmerizing! Thank you taehyung for suggesting this place!" I smiled.

"I just didn't know any other place" he said turning away without looking at me.

"Thank you anyways" i shrugged.
"What are we going to do today though?"

"I think we are going to the mountain today in the morning"

"Then can we spend the evening here?" I asked my eyes sparkling as I stared at taehyung.

"W-well I guess we can do that."
He said still confused about what i am so excited for.

"Great!" I clapped my hands.

"Do you like it that much?" he said raising one eyebrow.

"Yes! And most importantly I'm here with the people i cherish and love. So of course it becomes hundred times better than it actually is." I said a serious look coming to my face.

We stared at each other for a couple of seconds before we broke the contest and looked at the horizon which never ends.

It's gonna be a long day today and i am excited!
