Min-Gi's body was directly on top of his. Jeez, he felt like a weight on his chest. Ryan, still not out of the hazy not-quite-awake-yet state, stared at Min, his eyelids threatening to fall back closed. But they didn't, because soon enough, he realized just how uncomfortable the position really was. Ryan's neck was at an awkward angle to make room for the other man, and their limbs were entangled together in an extreme version of Twister. Okay, maybe that was an over-exaggeration, but the point still stands.
Ryan let out a heavy sigh. To be honest, most of the time he was the clingy one, his way of showing affection being physical touch. However, today was different. Min seemed to just not want to let go. Fine by Ryan, but a bit unusual, he noted.
It wasn't long before Ryan's fingers somehow found Min's hair. They ran through it, playing with his messy bed head. It was usually slick back and tidy, but Min only really bothered to make it look nice if they had a show. Otherwise, just a comb would do the trick. Ryan always seemed to notice these little details, for whatever reason. He found them fascinating. It really wasn't that special, but it was to him.
Birds chirped outside. Behind the curtains (but were really just thin bedsheets), the sun was up in the sky, with no clouds to block it. The light filtered in through the sheets and shined right into Ryan's eyes. How lucky.
He should probably just go back to sleep. It wasn't like they had anywhere important to be. Their next show wasn't until the next day, and it was fairly nearby. Sleep was good, wasn't that what Min told him? Maybe that was just because Ryan always stayed up until 1 am.
The moment he had decided to close his eyes again, a soft groaning was heard coming from Min. Ryan's eyes flickered open, looking up at him. His eyebrows were knit together, but he still wasn't awake. Ryan sighed with relief. As much as it was uncomfortable, he liked this. It was quiet, slow; it felt like the two were the only people in the world. Nobody else existed in that moment, and that was okay.
Ryan smiled fondly. Yeah, this was nice. They should do this more often.
