Looking back, maybe he'd always been in love with his best friend.
It made sense; the longing looks, the physical touch, the restless nights. When adults would come to him, asking about his future and dating, he would shake his head, saying he wouldn't have time for that, as he'd be off on tour in a two-person band.
But now. Now, he was sure of it. He was in love. He was in love with Min-Gi Park. The boy he'd known since birth. They'd grown up together and knew each other better than anybody. How had he been so blind?
The songs he used to write always resembled break-up songs. At the time, he didn't think of it like that, but yeah—it was basically a break-up, wasn't it?
And now what? Does he just tell him? That was weird. What if he didn't even feel the same way? There was only one way to find out.
But he wouldn't do it. Not yet. He had already left him once; he won't let that happen again.
