Chapter 25: Questions by the Painting

Author's POV

"Do you believe in what they said earlier?" Beomgyu said to Ryujin asking her, while still looking at the painting in front of them.

"If they were really made for each other, both fate and destiny will surely have its own ways to connect them together once again." Ryujin said to Beomgyu, answering his question earlier, while still looking at the painting.

"You know that I asked you a 'Yes or No' question right?" Beomgyu said to Ryujin, but she ultimately ignored him.

"Do you believe in what Taehyun said to us while we were walking back to our own dorms?" Ryujin said to Beomgyu, asking him.

Beomgyu was obviously startled by all of this that he didn't speak for some time, before answering Ryujin's question. "Well... To be honest, I've been thinking about it lately." Beomgyu said to Ryujin, honestly.

Ryujin then released a sigh. "Same I've been thinking about it as well..." Ryujin said to Beomgyu.

"Ryujin do you ever felt that you were somewhat got shot by an arrow in your past life?" Beomgyu said to Ryujin, asking her.

"What? Now you believe in past lives and stuff? Man Taehyun got into your head, big time. Beomgyu don't you think that killing people with arrows are so old-fashioned nowadays. Yes there are people who use that method but only in movies or really old fashioned ways of killing you know or maybe a sports event where they actually play the game 'Archery'." Ryujin said to Beomgyu, answering his question, while scoffing a bit at him.

Beomgyu then released a sigh. "Just forget what I said earlier you would just tease me over and over again." Beomgyu said to Ryujin, as he refused to look at her to see the expression she had on her face.

Something then hit Ryujin and made her realized why Beomgyu asked that question.

Ryujin was sitting with both Chaeryeong and Taehyun, while Minju and Beomgyu went out to by them some drinks from a nearby convenience store. They were waiting for the drinks to come, since it was very hot that day.

"I wanted to say something today... But I just don't remember it..." Chaeryeong said while thinking.

Both Ryujin and Taehyun just looked at her, confused.

"Ah! I remembered! I did some research and I found out that the girl that we're doing a research on died, by a shot of an arrow. It said that she was directly shot right in the heart." Chaeryeong said to both Ryujin and Taehyun as she gave them her phone for them to take a look about what she found out.

"She was shot by an arrow right? That's how she died right? But how come you know that? I know that the only person that was with me back then was Chaeryeong and Taehyun you were out buying us drinks with Minju. So how did you know about that?" Ryujin said to Beomgyu as she asked him and looked at him.

Beomgyu then released another sigh. "You wouldn't even believe me..." Beomgyu said as he muttered in underneath his breath.
